055 | Please not him

Alexia holds her phone tightly as she swipes on all the pictures of herself and Jeremy with teary eyes. She couldn't help it. Every time she thought about him, tears had the obligation of following.

She dials the number of someone who always had the words to comfort her.

"Derek..?" She mumbles as she hears the other person on the phone answer.

"Lex?" He replies in a shocked tone. He didn't hear from the girl in so much months. "I haven't heard of you in a while. Jaden misses you."

"I'm sorry," she mumbles again, her voice filled with vulnerability. "So much things happened and.."

"Worse than to even text me that you're okay?" He asks in a firm, but calm tone.

"I know I should've send a text.. or called," she runs her fingers through her hair. "But Nik first died and.. and then he came back and all my friends tried to kill him all over again.. then there was this cure.. and my brother got killed so.."

Derek listens, each words making his concern for the girl grow, "oh god.. I'm so sorry.."

"How's Jaden?"

The older man sighs, "he's a bit mad about not getting news from you, but he's good. Still has sarcastic if not more."

Alexia chuckles, of course Jaden was going to become more sarcastic after she left.

She chuckles, "tell him I'm sorry and I'll try to come when I can."

"I will. Look, I gotta go back to work, I'll try to call you back when I have the time," he says in a rush.

"Okay.."

He hangs up and she's left alone again with her thoughts.

Alexia/ Silas walks downstairs to Klaus's screaming same broken bones.

"Klaus?" She asks before walking in the living room.

There he stand, shirtless, in pain and sweating.

She runs to him and put a hand on his shoulder, but he instantly wince and she pulls back. "Sorry," she mumbles. "What has happened to you?" She asks acting worriedly.

He grunts, "Silas.. he attacked me. He stabbed me with the white-oak stake."

Alexia's eyes widens and she moves from Jeremy back to Klaus and hugs him tightly.

All she could think of is..

Please not him.

Her eyes widens and she tries to hide a smile.

"A piece of it is still inside me," he says trying to reach to his back as he continues to groan in pain.

"B-but that could kill you.." she mumbles acting fearful.

He laughs falling to his knees, "well, I certainly feel like I'm dying."

She takes a deep breath and run one hand in his hair and the other on his chin to make him look at her. "Hey.. I think that's what you deserve. After everything you did, you deserve to die."

"What?! I would never say that!" She yells defensively and look at Klaus with pleading eyes. "You believe me.. right?"

He looks hurt at what Alexia says on the screen and just look down.
