He brushes her tears away, using his thumb. He brings your head back to his chest and rubs your back soothingly.

Klaus looks at Alexia's figure who's shaking in her brother's arms and sighs worriedly. He just hoped it was fake. Even if he hated Jeremy Gilbert, seeing her reacting to his dead broke his heart.

His heart sinks as her little figure begins to shake in his arms. He holds you closer, if possible and pulls her onto his laps, wrapping his arms around her again.

He starts rocking her back and forth, holding her tight against his chest. He buries his have in the crook of your neck, "I'm here. You're safe. I got you."

He knew it wasn't the time to ask questions. Not in that state.

He kiss the top of her hair repeatedly, "breathe, princess. Just breathe with me," he mumbles in her hair as she begins to relax.

"He—he died," she manages to say through sobs.

His heart clenches at the repeated sound of your sobs, "who died, princess?"

"J-Jeremy," she mumbles before hiding her face back in his chest.

His eyes softens and he lets out a sigh. His thumb goes back to caressing her cheek, "princess.. I, so sorry.."

"Just hold me," she mumbles onto his chest.

And that's what he did.

He held her the whole night on the floor of the living room.

"I wanna kill Damon," Alexia mumbles coming back in the living room after calling Stefan. "He made Elena turn her emotions off with their bond and.. she puts our house on fire," she sits down on Klaus laps and hides her head in his neck.

Alexia glares at Damon through her puffy eyes.

Damon puts his hands in surrender.

Klaus scoffs, "of course he did."

"I'm sorry for yesterday.. moment of vulnerability," she mutters as the memories of yesterday come back.

He immediately shakes his head, pulling her closer to him. "No. Don't say that. It was not a moment of vulnerability. Remember what you told me when Kol died?"

Alexia sits down beside him on the couch at the Gilbert house after Bonnie put a spell on Klaus.

He's in tears as he looks at Kol's gray body in the kitchen.

"Don't be like that. Don't hide your emotions. It's just me..," she mumbles cupping his cheek with her thumb. "It's just you and me. Don't turn me down. Let me help you, baby. I'm here."

As her words hits his ears, more tears fills in his eyes and they begins to run down his cheeks.

"Jeez, I didn't think you would care so much," Kol chuckles as Klaus gives him a glare.

"You're my brother, Kol. I may not show my love, but I care for you."

Kol smiles softly and glances at Alexia, "she really changed you for the better, didn't she?"

Klaus glances at you too, "she did.."

Alexia nods her head, remembering that night. "I told you that it was okay. That you shouldn't hide your emotions from me."
