Chapter 10: New Clan?

Daisyflower stared at her in disbelief. "Then he can't be a warrior anymore!" Daisyflower meowed. "Yes, I know. But it's too damaged to heal, at least it looks like it from here. I still have to see if any bones are broken or cracked. I'll let you know when I can." Daisyflower gave a short nod and went out side. She looked around and saw Talltail lying in the middle of the camp. He died! But how? There's nothing in here that could of killed him. Daisyflower thought. She looked around for Dovefeather. She was sun bathing in the late sun by the Warriors den. Daisyflower walked by her side. "Hey." Dovefeather jumped at her voice. She must of been half asleep to jump like that. "What. Is Foxkit ok?" "Im not sure, Leafstorms looking for him. We had to save Redspots from a badger trap. Its a long story." "Ok, so what did you need." "I wanted to ask, h.. how did Talltail... die?" She didn't like to ask this question. There was a pause for a few heartbeats. "Well, he died by natural causes in his sleep. At least he went to Starclan peacefully." They both looked at the camps entrance. It was Leafstorm with Foxkit dangling in her mouth. She took him to the medicine den. Then came out to report it to Lightstar and Mouse. "Mind if I sun bathe with you?" Daisyflower asked. "Go right ahead." They both sat down in the setting Suns rays. Daisyflower got up after the sun had set and looked at silver pelt. Talltail must be one of those shining stars, Daisyflower thought. Tonight the clan would sit vigil for Talltail. She stayed with Dovefeather, Moonlight, and Leafstorm. Daisyflower sat there until moonhigh, she went to the Warriors den to sleep. She had Dawn patrol the next morning. She went into the Warriors den and curled up and fell asleep. She woke up the next morning to the early rising sun in her face. She got up and walked outside. She met at the entrance with Orangeflame, Moonlight, and Birdpaw. They were waiting for Badgerjaw and Dovefeather. She looked in the middle of the camp to see Talltail's limp body. The elders should bury him soon. Badgerjaw and Dovefeather ran towards them. "Sorry we're late. We had to speak to Lightstar." "About what?" Orangeflame mewed. "Nothing that concerns you." At that, Badgerjaw walked out of the camp, without even looking back to see if anyone was looking to see if anyone was following him. They all walked out and went to the left side of their territory. They looked to see if they could find any badger traps, but none laid in their path. They got to the scent marker and renewed it. As they were renewing the markers, Moonlight stopped and scented the air. She gave a hiss to be quiet and they backed up to hide in a bush. Daisyflower looked franticly over the border. She scented the air. She could smell cats, a lot of them. She saw a light-blue gray cat poke his head out of the bush across the border. He scented the air and went back in he. Soon he came out with two more cats. Daisyflower saw Dovefeather creep out to meet them. "What are doing on our territory?!" She growled. "We're looking for another camp for our clan. We got driven out by twolegs." Dovefeather two twitched the tip of her tail and the rest of the patrol came out. "We're not looking for trouble!" He mewed. "Come with us, along with your clan." Dovefeather led her patrol and the unknown clan towards the camp. Daisyflowers patrol got in the camp, along with the clan. A single cat followed her to Lightstars den. She guessed it was their leader. Daisyflower walked over to the fresh kill pile and grabbed a magpie. She devoured it in hungry bites. She looked at the cats from the other clan. One walked up to her. "Can we have some fresh kill for our kits and elders. We haven't had anything for a couple of days." Daisyflower was shocked. "Yes, go ahead." The she cat walked over to her clan and five cats followed her. Two with kits, and three elders. Daisyflower looked at her leaders entrance and saw Lightstar, Dovefeather, and the leader of the other clan walk out. Lightstar jumped to the high rock. She's not gonna except them in the forest, is she?

Wow, this was really hard to make, but I did it! Yes, I know this book doesn't have a lot of chapters. I don't care about that. The next book will be better and have different things in it. Tell me if I should continue the series or not in the comments please. Thanks for reading!!
