"Jaerim-ah, I'm outside your door"

Jaerim took a deep breath and opened the door where Mingyu stood with a mask and hat while wearing a simple t-shirt and a pants holding some plastic bags. "Come in"

She offered her the extra sandal that she kept at home in case her mom or manager visit and helped with the plastic bags and led him towards the kitchen.

Only when he reached the kitchen, he removed his hat and mask then kept it at the corner of the couch. His eyes lingered around the living room where the dim yellow lights were turned on and he couldn't really tell the colour of the walls because everything looked yellow but he liked the way it was organised and the small decor with a frame of LAVELLE members kept on the coffee table with some dried roses inside a vase which really looked familiar.

"You've got a nice interior, Jaerim-ah"

"Thank you, it took me a whole week to finalize these because I had too many thoughts in mind"

Mingyu made his way to sink and washed his hands and Jaerim offered him the apron. "Why don't I make the main dish while you prepare a salad or some fruits? I'll be the main cook. What do you say? I even promised you to make sure to cook for you"

Jaerim laughed and nodded. "Alright, let's taste the cooking of The-Kim-Mingyu"

Mingyu laughed and started removing the meat from the plastic bags which contained some vegetables and fruits that he bought on the way. Jaerim took out the side dish from the fridge along with some of the veggies and meat.

"I'll make ramen kimchi-stew and some meat-stew too"

Jaerim nodded obediently and brought out the kimchi "The kitchen is all yours"

Though Mingyu said he'd do the work, she still insisted on helping him with washing the vegetables and cutting some onions or other veggies here and there as they exchanged some small talks.

Jaerim sat down on the chair and started peeling an apple while waiting for Mingyu to finish cooking. Mingyu was focused on stirring the food and adding all the necessary items on the dishes he was making with full concentration.

The Seo girl couldn't help but notice his back profile. His tall height and bulky body made it look like her kitchen was a little small for him which was usually big for Jaerim. The apron which was of large size fits his body properly and Jaerim couldn't help but gawk at the big biceps that was flexed everytime he tries to grab something from the cabin above and casually chopping some side garnish.

Boy really spends his time in gym.

Her heart was beating faster and faster at the sight of the guy in front of her who was cooking and looked so handsome and manly. She suddenly understood why YUE and HANA are so crazy about their fictional 6 ft tall men from books who cooks.

Jaerim took out her phone and clicked a quick picture and turned on the video recorder and recorded every single movement of the guy. Clicking pictures and taking video of something has become a habit of Jaerim because, even when she goes out for walk or even a small dinner with her members she'd record small videos or pictures because she believes that those little things will form a good memories when collected in future ─── despite her members saying that she record everything everytime, even if the occasion isn't special but to Jaerim, everyday is special and memorable.

"Mingyu-ah"

"Yes?"

He turned around with a chopsticks in his hand and as he noticed the camera he chuckled and turned around before turning back with some foods in his chopsticks and bringing it close to Jaerim

"See if it's okay or not" He blew softly before feeding it to Jaerim.

As soon as the food reached her mouth, the taste exploded and she gave thumbs up to Mingyu with a smile "Kim Mingyu!! You're really great at cooking! It's making me more hungry"

Mingyu laughed and patted her head before turning back "You can start taking the side dish on the table"

Jaerim placed her phone on the table and quickly brought the side dish one after another and cut the dried seaweed into square size and placed at the table. Mingyu then brought out the sizzling hot stews and placed on the table.

The living room was filled with the warm smell of the home-cooked meal and Jaerim was feeling more hungrier than ever. She ran to the kitchen and grabbed a chopstick before running back to the living room and sat on the carpet eagerly waiting for Mingyu to bring his chopstick and sit down.

Mingyu chuckled at her reaction and sat down took a quick picture of the foods while Jaerim was waiting to devour the food.

"Let's start eating"

"Bon appetite!"

They started with the noodles kimchi-stew and it immediately made Jaerim happy with sense of nostalgia hitting her. The food tasted similar to her mom's home cooked meal. She barely ate home-made meals due to her busy schedules because of the comeback yet having a home-made meal in the middle of the night was the best feeling ever and Mingyu? he was like the cherry-on-top at the moment.

"I am jealous of your members who get's to eat your food everyday"

Mingyu took the beef from the pot and placed it in Jaerim's bowl "Then I can come over and cook for you every night"

And girlie choked as she threw a glare at the guy who acted like nothing happened

"You are really good at flirting, Kim Mingyu"

"Only for you"

And I give up arguing with him.

Though she was teasing him, she felt nice. The feeling of sharing a home-cooked meal with someone while you talk about life at a freaking 3 am in the morning and laughing without a care. It's the little happiness that makes life worthwhile and memorable
