Mingyu laid out a mat he bought from the store and put out all the foods one after another which Jaerim offered to help but he didn't let her instead she asked him to film anything she wanted or enjoy her time stargazing while he set up.
Jaerim gave up trying to help and just sat at the corner hugging her knees while her eye enjoyed the ocean view and the beautiful stars twinkling above. She took some pictures of the sky which the camera couldn't even capture the beauty. The soft breeze was mixed with the smell of the rose bouquet that she kept next to her, it was like a perfect combo!
Her hands slowly reached out for the roses and a smile playing around her lips while her eyes slowly traced towards the guy at the back who was setting up foods with full concentration. In the idol industry, there are lot of handsome idols but Mingyu was setting the bar high and Jaerim didn't feel hungry after feasting on his looks.
"Jaerim-ah, it's done. Let's have some convenience food for tonight"

"I'm so full"
Jaerim finished the last bite of the strawberry and laid down on the mat as Mingyu placed the covers and plastics inside the dustbin and sat down.
"Next time, I'll cook properly"
Jaerim knows that Mingyu is a great cook and has tried his kimchi-stew once when Seungkwan gave LYN some of it and Jaerim was there so she ended up trying the soup and it was indeed tasty.
"Then, I'll be looking forward to it"
Though the foods were tasty, it couldn't be compared to homemade foods but still, Jaerim really enjoyed the food.
"Would you mind if I lay down?"
Jaerim made space for the bigger guy to lay down and soon they were both facing the stars directly.
"Life is full of mysteries right? I feel like there is something beyond science"
"Indeed. The stars are so pretty"
Stars could be barely seen in Seoul because of the tall buildings and over crowded place along with the pollution made it impossible to see stars. Jaerim felt alive. She feels herself healing and it feels like she wasn't tired with her job and was recuperated after so long.
"I never knew stargazing would be this good because I was always alone when I do but now, it feels nice to have a companion"
Indeed, as a child she always loved the stars and would go to her grandparents farmhouse which was faraway and had to travel for almost 9-10 hours which made it impossible for her to visit frequently unless she has a full month vacation ─── but her job never gave her the chance.
Mingyu opened his phone and clicked some pictures before turning on a particular song, titled as « Pretty U »sang by the SVT members which Jaerim slowly moved her feet while jamming to the beautiful music.
As she looked at the stars while Mingyu slowly hummed along to the song, her mind was drifted to the situation on how she ended up here, with a person she barely knew. She knows that she wasn't that dumb but she decided to trust a man whom she have only seen in tv and never interacted all because he suddenly complimented her or just flirted with her.
Jaerim felt like she was too easy to please or either it is the fact that she hasn't been in a proper relationship where she was treated right made her to trust a guy who was suddenly nice to her and not even caring if he'd do bad things to her or just kidnapped her.
But with him, even the simplest words suddenly felt so nice and those little gestures of being given a tissue to wipe the corner of the lips, passing the chopsticks suddenly felt so good and made her all feel so giddy.
'I need to talk to mom about this feeling and find out whether I am in love or whether I am just enjoying the little pleasure given to me which I have never had'
But one thing is for sure that, she feel happy and warm with him around with intuition telling her that it's okay to let your guards down. He is fine and he won't do any harm. He is genuine.
But as much as dumb she was in terms of relationship or anything like that, she still feels good and nice with him.
