The same thing is not always pleasant, because our nature is not homogeneous - there is something else in it; as a result, we are doomed to extinction. Therefore, if one part of our nature does something, it is opposed to another part of that nature, but if both parts are aligned, then the activity seems neither pleasant nor unpleasant. If nature were homogeneous, then the same activity would always be the most enjoyable.
