Hot shot was in Cook children's hospital. He just found out he has a brain tumor. When part of it was removed and biopsied it revealed that Hot shot has cancer. A type of cancer called Medulloblastoma. Which is a type of brain cancer, and he has a type of Medulloblastoma called SHH classic cell. Hot shot was feeling a lot of different things at the moment. A lot has happened during the time of his diagnosis and such. Hot shot was wondering if he was going to be okay. He was wondering what treatment was going to be like. He was wondering how long he was going to be in treatment. He was wondering if life was ever going to be the same again. He was wondering if he could ever be a kid again. He was wondering if it was his fault that he had a brain tumor. He was wondering if the rest of the family knew about his diagnosis. He felt so alone right now, he felt alone in this fight and felt alone in the world since this diagnosis. His chest still hurt from getting his port a cath put in. His head was also still kind of sore and achy from the surgery he had. He was worried about the constant needs of testing during treatment. He was worried about how long he was going to fight the cancer fire. He wondered about whether he might win or lose this fight. There was a lot on his mind to say the least. It made it hard to rest and sleep.

Quickshadow was with him in the hospital that night. Both her and Heatwave called the family and told them about Hot shot's diagnosis. Heatwave called his side of the family. He called his parents, his sister and brother in law, his cousins, and he even called his close childhood friends. Quickshadow called her side of the family too. She called her parents, her brother and her cousins. Heatwave told his fellow firefighters and first responders about Hot shot's diagnosis. Quickshadow told her fellow doctors and nurses about Hot shot's diagnosis too. Their family, family friends and co workers were all in shock about this. But they were willing to be supportive of them and help them in anyway that they can. They were also going to be supportive too and be a listening ear when needed.

Quickshadow also got into contact with the pediatric brain tumor foundation. They help children with brain tumors and their families with support and financial aid. They have many resources to help parents and have the imaginary friend society videos to help kids like Hot shot with learning about cancer and it's treatment. Quickshadow was looking for support from the foundation and other parents who are going through what they are going through. They should be in contact with them soon hopefully.

Hot shot was trying his best to sleep and rest. Hot shot was then woken up by a nurse named Rita. "Hot shot I am just checking your vitals," Rita said.

"My head hurts still," Hot shot said.

"I can get some pain killers to help," Rita said.

"Yes please," Hot shot said.

Hot shot took the medicine that Rita brought with her. Hot shot swallowed the liquid medicine in a cup. Then handed the cup back to Rita. Then Hot shot went back to sleep.

Hot shot cuddled with Roxy the rhino as he slept. Hot shot was a bit unrestful in his sleep. Then morning came the sun was up and it's light was shining through the windows of the hospital. Hot shot woke up and saw the sun was up.

Hot shot stretched in bed and saw his mother was up too. "Morning mummy," Hot shot said.

"Morning Hot shot," Quickshadow said. Then her phone rang. "Hello? Yes thank you for calling me, I am so glad you could call, I am so relieve you are going to support us now," she said. "I know it will be a big help," she said. "I know he will be thrilled to hear that, I hope to hear from other families sometime soon, okay bye," she said.

"Who was it mummy?" Hot shot asked as he started to eat his breakfast.

"It was the pediatric brain tumor foundation, they help kids with brain tumors like you and their families, with support, financial aid and resources," Quickshadow said. "They even made the imaginary friend society which you watch a couple of videos from, and have many more," she said. "They said you are now one of their stars, that is what they call a kid with a brain tumor they are helping," she said.
