The Car
23:57"You need to stop moving. You're gonna bleed out." Y/n warns and glanced over at him as she drove. He threw his head back and held his abdomen trying not to squirm as much because of pain. "I'm fine, Y/n." He managed to say while squeezing his eyes shut.
"No. You are not fine. We are not safe here. This isn't good, Miles!" Y/n urged as her eyes began to water as she started to have flashbacks from the night her brother was killed. Her heart was racing and her breathing increased. She tried hard to focus on the road but the flashbacks were getting too vivid.
Y/n gripped on the steering wheel so hard her knuckles started turning white. Through all of this Miles reached up to gently place his hand on her forearm which calmed her down and take a deep breath. She looked over to him and his eyes were slowly closing, his hand on her arm grew limp so now her panic started back up.
"Miles! Stay up!" She yelled which made his eyes jolt open. "I'm tired, baby." He mumbled then hissed and let his head lean on the window. "Well you can't go doing that. You have to stay up...please." Y/n glanced over to him once more and held his hand tightly. "We're almost home."

Miles Pov
I woke up in the bed and the first thing I saw was my girl putting me back together. I looked over to see the first aid kit open and all that came with it spread out on the bed.
"Thank you." I uttered out. I watched as he lifted her head slowly to look at me. She took the small towel next to my head and dabbed it on my forehead. "You're welcome." "No. I love you...I really fuckin' love yo ass." I chuckled a but it was true. She did her cute nervous smile and I couldn't help but admire her.
The way she cared for me, and showed so much concern for me on the ride home I just knew I was gonna be with her for a very long time.
"I love you too." She caressed the side of my face and came close to plant a tender kiss on my lips. Y/n got in bed with me and layed her head on my chest and we stayed like that for a while in silence.
"You think I'm gon' make it to ya birthday?" I broke the silence. "Don't say that." Y/n lightly slapped my chest. "You just got stabbed, it's not like you got shot. You're strong as fuck no matter what happens to you. This is nothing." Y/n tells me while running her index finger against my jawline.
"Thanks, but y'know i'm just playing right?" I say as my hand moves to rest on her waist. "You better be." She said before kissing me.

03:40
I woke up to my phone ringing. I groaned in frustration because it was still dark out so who the hell is calling me at this time? I reached over to the nightstand to grab my phone but forgot I had just been stabbed earlier so I sucked in air and hissed in pain.
When I saw the caller ID I immediately got irritated because what the fuck?
"Uncle Aaron?" I spoke in the phone. "Open the door. This house so damn big. What y'all need all these space fa? Y'all only staying here for a week." Uncle Aaron gets to ranting. "What—What you talkin' 'bout? I'm in Puerto—" "You're in Puerto Rico. We are too, now open up, boy. It's hot." Uncle Aaron says.
I forced himself out of the bed and held myself as I nade my way downstairs to the front door of the Bnb. "All this damn wasteful spending. He coulda 'but his mom a house with the money he using for this." I heard Tashi was talking shit on the line. I hung up the phone and tossed it on the couch before reaching for the doorknob. Once I opened up the door, low and behold, there stood Uncle Aaron and Tashi who didn't waste any time entering.
I walked over to the light switch to turn on the light so he could see if this was real or not.
"What the hell happened?" Tashi removed my hand from my abdomen to see the wound covered up in bandages but the blood mark forcing its way through. "I got stabbed." I responded and slapped Tashi's hand away.
"Stabbed?? Stabbed by who?" Uncle Aaron furrows his brows. "Why are y'all here?" I spoke in a very annoyed tone because I couldn't believe this was happening.
"There's a crazy, manic, psycho man on the loose out tryna kill you and your lil shorty." "We just wanted to see if you're okay." "And clearly you're not, so who did it?" Tashi and Aaron did that popcorn thing they always did explaining why they were here. Tashi pulled out a cigarette from his pocket and began lighting it but I went to snatch it from him. "Hey, don't light no damn cigarette in my house, man." I warned as he put it out in the astray nearby.
"Correction: Bnb." Tashi commented. "Shut up, Tashi. Listen, we good. Me and Y/n, we are good. Got it?" I clarified looking at the both of them who stared at
me as if I had seven heads.Tashi totally disregarded what I was saying and looked at the large sofas in the living room. "Yo, Aaron, I'm feeling that couch on the left. Which one you takin'?" Tashi looked at the couches like he was tryna solve a problem. Aaron went over to the sofa adjacent and took his shoes off to get settled. "I'm callin' this one." Tashi turned to glance at Aaron. "Cool." He nodded.
Aaron and Tashi both looked at me with a blank stare. I ran my hand over my face starting to let the misery set in. "You gon' keep looking at us like we stupid or you gon' grab us some blankets?" Tashi said then raised his brows. "It's hot." I argued. "And you got AC blasting all up and through this place." "It's gon' turn to a damn igloo in due time." Tashi added."We need some blankets, please. What's all the argument for?" Aaron said.
I exhaled in annoyance.
"There's extra rooms upstairs." I mumbled as I walked towards the steps. "What he say?" Tashi looked at Aaron. "I think he said 'Why would we sleep on chairs downstairs'." Aaron guessed. "I said, there are extra rooms upstairs!" I raised my voice feeling irritated that I had to repeat myself to these guys. I then proceeded upstairs.
This is gonna be one hell of a trip. I thought to myself.
