"Yo. You told me to pull up. I'm here." Miles said on the phone to Kaiyah as he stood outside the door of the house. "Ard. One second." She said before cutting the phone off. After a minute or two, Kaiyah came to open the door for Miles.
"Hey." She smiles and gave him a side hug before asking him to enter inside. "New spot?" Miles asked as his eyes danced around the nice place. "Somethin' like that. After my dad...passed, his best friend got custody of me and this is his place. I live with him now." She shrugged.
"Mm...Where we smokin'?" Miles looked at her. "The balcony. Follow me." Kaiyah walked towards the stairs and Miles followed.
After an hour or two of chilling, smoking, ordering a bunch of food, and talking about life lately, Kaiyah's name got called down in the living room.
"That's him. I'll be back." Kaiyah patted Miles' shoulder before leaving the balcony. "Jace, what's up?" Kaiyah said when got downstairs and leaned on the kitchen island, watching him sift through mail not once looking up at her.
"I know you don't got nobody in my house." He said. "Uh...—" "And I know you not 'bouta lie about it either." Jace tossed the mail on the coffee table then looked at her finally.
"Ok, so what I invited a friend over? I haven't been to school in weeks, shit been lonely." Kaiyah rubbed her arm and looked away. "Kaiyah, nobody's been stopping you from going to school, better yet, socializing. That part's on you. But don't be inviting people over without my knowledge." Jace told her.
"How'd you even—" "Cameras. I thought everybody had 'em." As soon as Jace said this Miles came down the steps with two bags of trash from all the food they ate. He immediately stopped in his tracks when he saw Jace. Jace fixed his posture when he saw the young man as well.
"Miles, I didn't know you were coming down." Kaiyah said. "I was just leaving but I wasn't tryna leave trash behind either." Miles spoke with his eyes still on Jace. "Jace. I'm Kaiyah's Uncle." Jace extended his hand out to Miles who stood there momentarily before raising his hand to show he had a trash bag in it.
Jace withdrew his hand then asked his name as if he hadn't known. "Miles. Kaiyah's friend." Miles pointed to her. Jace nodded slowly. "Said you were leaving, right?" Jace broke the awkward silence then Miles brushed passed him as he walked towards the front door. Kaiyah followed him to open the door and walk him out.
"Sorry. He's a...I don't even know. He's weird." Kaiyah apologized on Jace's behalf. "He seems like a cool guy." Miles lied as he opened the garbage and disposed of the bags. "He can be, but I don't think you'll be seeing much of him in the future." Kaiyah pressed her lips together. "I actually hope I do. See you, later, Kaiyah." Miles looked at her before walking towards his car.
Kaiyah tilted her head in confusion and squinted before waving goodbye to Miles then making her way back inside.

Miles walked into his home and saw Aaron and Tashi arguing while his mother was at the dinner table with her head in her hands looking stressed out. "Great. A ghost just entered." Tashi said as he took a bite of his nature valley bar. Miles cut his eyes at him then walks towards his mother.
"Mamá, ¿cómo estás?" Miles rubbed his mother's shoulder. "Where you been?" Aaron asked him. "Estoy bien, papi." She placed her hand atop his and watched as he took a seat beside her. "Out." Miles looked at Aaron. "You been in out in Bay Ridge. What the hell is in Bay Ridge for you?" Aaron crossed his arms. Miles shook his head in annoyance. "Where's Y/n?" He asked.
(Mom, how are you? + I'm fine)
"She left shortly after you did. I don't blame her. This place has gone wild since they got here." Río answered. "It's so noisy ni siquiera puedes oírte a ti mismo pensando." Eva chimed in as she came out of her room. Tashi scoffed. "It's is." She reiterated.

Miles nodded before grabbing his keys. "Well I'll be back." He told them. "Where you goin' we need your input on some things." Aaron asked. "We don't need his input." Tashi mumbled. "Take me with you. I need to be dropped off at a friend's house." Eva said to Miles. "Hurry up and get ready." "I am ready." Eva said then Miles opened the door to exit and Eva followed him out.
"Let 'em go. It's his life that's being targeted. Things gon' have to get a lot worse before they get better. He gon' see." Tashi said.

"Thought you'd be home." Miles kicked his shoes off and removed his jacket and hoodie before getting in bed with Y/n. "Yeah. Just needed some peace and quiet." She answered and rolled over to see his face.
She smiled and kissed his lips. "Mm." He hummed. "Where were you for so long?" She asked while caressing his cheek with her thumb. "Went to Ms. Farris, had a polite lil conversation. Then went to check on Kaiyah. Her father had recently just died." "Damn, I didn't know. Make sure to give her my condolences." Y/n said.
"You ate?" Miles asked while his hand slowly went up and down her waist. "Yea I made alfredo as soon as I got back home then I went to sleep." She spoke. "Oh ok. I ain't eat too much. Kinda hungry though." He looked at her with those eyes of his already letting her know that she was in for it. She began laughing.
"What you hungry for?" She asked him and felt his hands go down to her waist line to slither inside her panties. "Ion know. I gotta see." He shrugged before getting up and laying between her legs. He used his free hand to place around her neck as he began kissing her lips and used his other to rub her wet flower.
