Indeed, this is the last chapter of this story. It might not appeal to your preference for an ending to a story for I shall keep it short and hanging. Yet, it is still an ending.

"There was no wedding," that was the answer I gave to Nadya when she asked about what happened. "I am the worst person and the worst friend in the world. I don't know where Quinn is now and I can't contact her. She won't pick up my call. If I were here, I wouldn't pick up my call."

"You tried what you think would be the best for her, and for you. She might need some time," said Tessa.

We were now at the gazebo in front of Art Department of our university. We wanted to make a cpy of our college sertificate to be used to apply for a new job. Yeah, it's the time for us to move on. They said when we were still young, we should try new things. Don't just stay at one company. Try another company, another job, while you still can. It'll enrich your knowledge and experience. That decision led us to gather here.

I still remembered a few months back there, at the exact same spot. It was crowd on that time but today it was rather quiet. I still remembered my last conversation with Quinn on that time about my ideal type of man. I said he should be kind. Finding a kind hearted man, who loved me, was surely difficult.

"Let's meet again in the future. Here or somewhere else. A reunion. Hope we don't change," I requested for I felt like after this we wouldn't get enough chance to see each other again cause we'd be busy with our lives.

"Yeah...," Tessa nodded, "on one fine day..."

"On one fine day," I repeated.

I looked at my box and my room. I reminisced the time when I first got here. Though I felt lonely most of the time, I still loved the idea of me having a privilege to work in one closed room special for me, like I was some kind of important person.

I cleaned up fifty percent of my stuff yesterday and only  a few things left. The taxi should be here in a minute.

I was about to leave when I heard a knock on the door. The person I avoided the most went in wearing the same perfume I smelled on him on our first encounter.

"Do you still have time?" Hendra asked.

I nodded, pointed at the sofa so we could talk. Hendra put two envelopes on the table.

"These are your salary receipt and recommendation letter," he said straight to the point. I guessed he was busy so he didn't want to waste time on a mere employee like me.

"Thank you," I said, taking the envelopes and put them in my bag. "You could've just emailed me."

"I don't want to. I wanna see you," he said.

"Sorry I didn't listen to you... I guess this is the carma. It's nice for the director to still give me a recommendation although I messed up, but I guess you did something about it."

Hendra smiled, "you're such a talented person. Besides the drama, other companies would be crazy not to hire you," said he.

"So,this is it? We won't see each other again?" said I strangely in a sad tone. Hendra, even though I hate to admit, had been the person I talked to the most during my work time here. "Or maybe when you send me your wedding invitation."

"Only if you don't crush it," he said. We both laughed. "I am still sad cause you don't believe me, you know, the last time we talked you said it."

"Yeah, I was afraid my plan would be spoiled, even though it turned out that you're right, cause you'll tell Zefanya about it," I admitted.

"Why would I tell Zefanya?"

"Cause you're both are matched? I overheard your conversation with her," I mentioned.

"Oh, that one? Pft..." Hendra giggled. "My mom and her mom set us up. My mom thinks I'm old enough to get married but I think there'll be no wedding this year because..."

"Because...?"

The phone rang. I picked up. My taxi had arrived.

"Your taxi is here?" Hendra asked.

I nodded.

"Do you need help to bring your stuff?" he tried to offer help.

"I'm good. My stuffs are downstairs, the driver can help me."

I took my bag and a small box.

"Thank you, Hendra. For everything," I said to him.

Hendra smiled. "I'll see you again?"

"We'll meet again?" I asked in confusion. "Ahh.. Yes, I'll see you again." How stupid I was. Not that we would meet each other again for real. It was just for courtesy.

"You haven't given me your answer yet," said Hendra.

"What answer?"

He knocked my forehead with his finger. "Your taxi's waiting for you."

Then, we left the room closed.
