Just two months after working here I did so many readings. I thought this might be the reason why they hired me, because I loved reading books. The works I had to do mostly making reviews of books I read. Unfortunately, I could not just write them as I wished, I had to read the books, made the reviews, and sent it to Desmond for approval. After that he would send it back to me before I was able to publish the review to our website. Some co-workers said I should just read a few paragraphs to find the main idea before writing the reviews, but somehow I couldn't help but read the entire books. It felt like the writers could bring me to an entire new world. Some books were exciting, some were torturing. However, they all worth published. For two months I already made 25 reviews and read 50 books in total.

While reading books and making the reviews, I also helped the team with projects. We did around 10 projects in two months. They were mostly about content for advertising through websites. Five of them through our company website and the other five through other websites. I learnt a lot from my team, they were all so good in making provoking and persuading contents. I, myself, needed to learn from them.

There were only ten people in this team; Kyrie, Mike, Emmy, Firda, Prasta, Handy, Indra, Katon, Desmond, and me. Beside me, the others had been working for this company for at least two years. Kyrie and Mike worked the longest, they had dedicated themselves in this place for around 16 years. Emmy, Firda, Prasta and Handy were in the same year joining this company seven years ago. Desmond had worked for around ten years while Indra and Katon had worked for three and two years. Although we only had a few numbers, but we all worked together hand in hand to achieve our goals.

To achieve our goals, our team had meetings every two days. Sometimes when we were very busy, they would ask me to sit together with them in Floor 6. I realized it was not really comfortable for me to move my things to Floor 6 since my place was in Floor 3, therefore I stayed at Floor 6 only for two or three hours every time I needed to discuss things with my teammates.

Today was different. My teammates went to my floor, to Austen's Meeting Room to be precise because they could not work at my room for it was not sufficient to accommodate ten people. We had three meetings with three different clients, so it was the fastest way to do things rather than going up and down. I was a bit relieve I did not have to do that today.

"We got a great news and a bad news. Which one do you like to hear first?" asked Desmond to start our meeting.

"Good news," answered Mike quickly. He rolled his pen and sat comfortably on his chair.

"We have five other projects already from five big companies. Sawit Sumber Nasional, Kalbi Cooperation, Wasta Karya, Indo Sukses Makmur, and Adhiguna Multi Finance," Desmond answered followed by loud cheer and wow by us. "We are going to be super busy with, of course, extra cha-ching!"

Mike and Prasta did a high five. Our team always got extra income if we could satisfy our clients. These huge companies surely would give us extra money.

"How about the bad news?" I immediately asked. I preferred to hear bad news first before the good news.

"There's also another project from Sekolah Media Indonesia to help them market their product. This is a small offer and our hands are already full. We could refuse this offer but because our director, Mr. Putratama, was an alumni from this school so he asked us to do it," he said.

I was confused. Another project even it was a small project, it was also important. We couldn't just ditch it. Everybody looked at one another.

"I need someone who can help me do Sekolah Media Indonesia project alone," Desmond concluded.

Everyone looked at their own laptop or notes, tried to avoid eye contact with Desmond. Why would they do that? Was it because the incentive was low because it was a project from school? Or what?

"I had Danica in my mind," Desmond continued and my team looked at me in unison.

"Yes, that's right. This would be a great chance for Danica!" Handy said.

"Yes Danica! You would gain a lot of experience from it! I remember the first time I had to deal with my first client. I learnt a lot from it," stated Indra. Others nodded in agreement.

At the same time, my phone vibrated. There was a message from Nadya. I opened her message.

"Don't miss this chance!" Kyrie grabbed my hand, made me looked at her and the others. "The first client and after that you'll get used to the nexts."

"Do you think I'm ready for it?" I asked Desmond in hesitant.

Desmond nodded, "you have the talent. You can still ask us to help you."

I looked at my team faces. It looked as if it had been decided. I looked down to my phone, read the message in a glance.

It was a wedding invitation:

Nadya and Daru

"What do you say, Danica?"

I looked at Desmond with uncertainty.

"Yes, I ... do?"
