Time flew so fast that I didn't realize another week had passed. I finished so many things in just a week; the video promotion, the school's website, the book review, and helped Desmond with the idea I shared to him. Then, here we came to the Wedding Reception.

The wedding reception was held in a huge ballroom. When I came there with Desmond, it was already flooded with guests who most of them were strangers to me. The banquet could hold until a thousand people, the theme was red velvet classic Javanese, and the cake was a four-tiered round and hexagon fondant one meter tall. I could not see much because it was full with people. Hendra must came from a rich family to have such a grand wedding.

I was pushed by someone and almost fell if I was not grabbed Desmond when I heard the music started. We were on the aisle and it needed to be cleared before the bride and groom entered. I thanked god I didn't fall in front of so many people. Guests kept coming and more people joining the reception. One particular guest caught my attention.

"Is that... I think I ever saw him..." I pointed a person who was standing on the front row close to the stage.

"Yes, that's the Sultan," Desmond whispered.

"Oh my God! I never attended a wedding with the royal family as a guest," I put my hand on my mouth, hiding my surprise.

"You don't know, do you?" Desmond whispered again.

"Know what?" I looked at him in confusion. His face was only 10 cm from my face, it turned me red.

"They are the royal family."

"What?" I held my breath. Rich and royal. That's why Hendra was so arrogant, sarcastic, direct, and bossy. That's why he knew brands and always looked elegant.

"He rarely spoke about his family at work cause he thinks it's not something so special, but people know and pay a respect to him," Desmond continued. "He didn't really socialize, maybe because he didn't want people to feel awkward about him but you'll find him kind and gentle."

Wow, Desmond said decent things about Hendra but I heard quite the opposite about Desmond from Hendra. So, who was actually the evil here?

The reception started with music from gamelan. After a few minutes, the bride and groom entered the hall followed by family members. All of them were wearing traditional clothes. I was not familiar with traditional clothing, all I could say was it was so conventional. Then I spotted Hendra. He was wearing traditional clothes too. Ugh, he said he would wear the suit I picked for him. At least, he gave the hint so.

The food was exceptional but I didn't have the appetite. I felt uncomfortable, my stomach felt full, and my mood was uncontrollable. After greeting the bride and groom and Hendra, I had to escape from this building. Unfortunately, the line was so long and would take a half hour before I could reach them.

Desmond was greeting more people, they must be from the office, and shared no intention to introduce me to them. I felt lonely and weird as if I was in another planet. Although I was surrounded by sea of people, I barely know them. I saw Zefanya, the girl I met on the first meeting, and was about to greet her when Desmond suddenly called my name.

"Danica. Mr Adhiguna, this is Danica, the one who's responsible for the school's website," said Desmond to Mr Adhiguna while he held my hand to get me closer to him and his companions.

"You are so young Ms Danica," said the man with glasses. He was plump with friendly expression. We shook hands.

"Mr Adhiguna is the owner of the school, Danica," said Desmond cleared the confusion in my mind.
