(IN STASIS) Assimilated Consequences: Half Life x Murder Drones

"He's around here, isn't he?" The two HECU's walk around the premise attempting to find their target "This is intolerable!" One of the grunts called out, upset "They really just gave up? JUST LIKE THAT? Now we're stuck here dealing with alien shit and...Freeman." Another HECU stomps on a passing headcrab "So what? We kill him and they'll send backup." "I don't know man...He seemed pretty...agitated...Can't we just find the rendezvous point and wait for a rescue?" The commander slams his fist into the wall "Rescue my ass! They abandoned us. The only thing left to do is follow protocol and execute the employees." As he finishes talking an arrow hits him square in the head killing him instantly. "ITS HIM! ITS FREEMA-" He's cut off instantly as a grenade explodes him to pieces. Gordon leaps out of the shadows. The remaining HECU fires at Gordon. The bullets hit him in the shoulder causing Gordon to hide behind a wall. He steadies himself, until he hears the sound of the MP5 being reloaded. Gordon fires his revolver at the HECU in the knee, causing him to fall to the ground. He holds the wound dragging his body towards the wall. Gordon looks over him emotionlessly and aims the revolver at his head. The HECU groans and slumps down "Do it." Gordon pulls the trigger and the bullet hits the HECU square in the forehead. He groans as blood pours out of the wound. Gordon picks up the HECU's MP5 taking out the ammo for later. All of a sudden he turns quickly to see multiple alien grunts approaching his location quickly. Gordon tried firing his shotgun but only a bit of damage was dealt as most of the bullets bounced off their armor. The alien grunts begin firing their Hivehands towards Gordon, the bullets hitting Gordon multiple times as he quickly runs off into another room. He runs into a few vortigaunts who begin charging their green energy but Gordon fires an MP5 grenade towards them immediately desolating them all. Gordon turns back only to be rammed by an alien grunt which causes GOrdon to fall into a sewer hole. When Gordon finally lands he quickly gets up to dodge a headcrab and immediately hits it with his crowbar. After killing the headcrab Gordon looks ahead through the tunnel seeing it goes on for a while. He looks back down to notice something...odd. The headcrab had some what appears to be writing on the underside. "We're From future! Listen to what we gotta say, look for something out of place d:" Gordon raised his eyebrow confused on what he sees. Something out of place? What the hell does that mean? Everything he's seen for the last few days has been out of place. Gordon walks backwards keeping an eye on the headcrab until he turns quickly and runs down the long large tunnel. Eventually Gordon stops completely exhausted, he's been non stop fighting for the last few days with zero signs of an end coming, he was tired, and sleepy. He laid down in the tunnel, he didn't care that there was water in it, he simply laid there trying to atleast get a few minutes of shuteye. He hears shuffling however and immediately jolts up, he turns to see a snark nest...weird. It was just strung up behind Gordon, he clearly didn't see it coming through here so why does he notice it now? He moves back a bit, only to turn to the left of the tunnel to see writing that DEFINITELY wasn't there before. "OPEN THE NEST." Gordon shook his head, he knew that snarks were bad and would be even worse if he had to fight them in an enclosed space. He moves back some more only to see MORE writing. "STOP IGNORING US >:(" Gordon pretty much ran through the sewers until he reached the end. He trips and his glasses fall off. He gropes around for it, not wanting to be caught by Xen creatures only for him to see a small dot approaching Gordon slowly. Gordon wasn't able to identify what it was, since his vision was extremely blurry. The red dot drops something in front of Gordon which appears to be his glasses. He grabs them and quickly puts them on, he looks down to see a snark...but this one was...different. It had a lighter shade of red with its usual one green eyeball replaced with a yellow...mechanical eyeball. "Can you see better? Cool, Hi Mr. Freeman!" Gordon screams only for the small Snark to scream as well. Gordon pulls out his pistol firing multiple bullets at the thing, dodging them quickly jumping around and scurrying back. Gordon gets up and begins chasing the thing not wanting it to live "MR. FREEMAN! COME ON! I'M SORRY!" Gordon prepares to load another mag into the pistol only for a small thing to latch onto Gordons back, and begins what feels like biting Gordon. "DON'T! FREAKING! SHOOT HIM!" Unfortunately Gordon barely feels it and quickly grabs the thing behind Gordons back and looks at it. This one was also snark but similar to the yellow eyed one, this one had a darker shade of red, with a purple robotic eye. "UNHAND ME! I'LL BITE YOUR EYES OFF!" The snark struggles to escape while Gordon watches completely unimpressed. "The Snark bites Gordons thumb which causes blood to drip out, yet Gordon doesn't let go. He shrugs, pulling out his revolver to kill the snark. "WAIT! WAIT! MR. FREEMAN! YOU GOTTA LISTEN TO ME!" Gordon looks over at the yellow eyed snark sitting there with their front legs in the air trying to make a point. "Mr. Freeman! You can't kill us! We're from the future and...Uzi why are we doing this again?" The purple eyed snark which Gordon presumed to be Uzi rolls their eye "BECAUSE N, I'm tired of this HUMAN, purposely holding information back about his own life! He knows stuff about US yet we know NOTHING about HIM!" Snark N scratches his antenna. "Well...maybe that's because he can't talk." Both Gordon and Snark Uzi look over at Snark N "BITE ME!" She turns back to Gordon "We're from the future and stuff, we become friends...I guess...and you seem to have a big concluded backstory...If you kill us we'll just come back again...which wouldn't be fun for either of us." Gordon still wasn't convinced "please Mr. Freeman, you gotta believe us!" Gordon looks over at Snark N who is holding his two little arms in a pleading way, looking as innocent as a snark can look. "Please???" Gordon sighed and rubbed his eyes. Damn it, He doesn't know why but he really can't say no to that little guy. He lets go of Snark Uzi who falls to the ground "Great! Thanks Four eyes!" "YAY!" Snark N exclaims with glee! The three then just stand there looking at each other "...well> aren't you going to go kick aliens asses or something?" Gordon shrugged and walked out of the tunnel. He opens a door to a staircase and begins running down "uh...Mr. Freeman? Can you slow down...pretty please?" Gordon looks back to see Snark Uzi by him but Snark N is having a hard time getting down the stairs, too afraid to hurt himself. Gordon pinches his nose, annoyed and goes back up the stairs, and picks up Snark N. "Thank you!" Gordon smiles a little bit as Snark N climbs onto Gordons shoulder. The three press on with their destination getting close: "The Lambda Core."
