Snark N chuckles to himself, still holding onto Gordon's shoulder. Snark Uzi, who has been trotting alongside Gordon, was learning more and more about Gordon's past life, and the more she learned, the more curious she got. "AND YOU LAUNCHED A ROCKETSHIP?" Gordon nodded, still getting used to the idea that two snarks are gonna be his friends in the future. Snark N was clearly shaken up, he found the idea of alien creatures controlling people to be...disturbing he REALLY wanted to change the subject. Snark Uzi was silently prowling on the floor, sneaking up on the distracted HECU's. Gordon sighs and gets ready. Snark Uzi manages to crawl her way to the HECU's foot as she opens her beak, and she chomps down on his foot. "AHHHHHHHH! GOD! IT'S THE LITTLE BUG THINGS!!!" The commander steps forward pulling out his revolver "Doesn't matter, let's put the bugger out of its misery" Before he can pull the trigger a large beam of blue light shoots out from the corner, disintegrating the commander. All of the HECUs turn to the source seeing Gordon brandishing his gluon gun "IT'S FREEMAN! OPEN FIRE!" The HECUs begin firing at Freeman. He moves left and right attempting to dodge the incoming bullets. Unfortunately Snark N, who's been attempting to hold on loses his grip. "DOCTERRRRR!" Snark N falls back, Gordon looks back and tries to reach for him but a bullet to the shoulder causes him to turn his attention to the HECU. Snark N gets off his back, rubbing his little head unsure of what's happening. All of a sudden a tiny cooing could be heard behind Snark N. He turns around as his eyes widen, realizing it's a Headcrab. It approaches Snark N slowly, its small coos turn into hissing "Uuuuh hehe" Snark N replies scared of the xen in front of him "Nice, Alien." Gordon dodges a grenade, and hides behind a box, taking out his MP5 and firing it at the HECUs. Eventually multiple bullet shots through Gordons side causes the HECUs to stop firing. "Not doing so well, eh Freeman? Should've let us kill you painlessly when you had the chance. BLOOD. LOSS. DETECTED. MORPHINE. ADMINISTERED. Gordon gets up quickly firing the MP5 grenade exploding the HECUs. Gordon wipes his forehead only for another HECU to stab and shove Gordon to the ground. Gordon winces as he sees his pistol a few feet away. He desperately crawls towards the gun. He reaches it aiming it at the HECU standing there smiling "Do it." Gordon pulls the trigger but the mag is empty. The HECU pulls out his MP5 and aims it at Gordon, and. Snark Uzi leaps on the HECUs face. "BITE ME!" Snark Uzi begins chomping on the HECUs face, he screams, unable to see where he's going. He stumbles back and falls down a small ditch. Gordon quickly grabs Snark Uzi before she could fall as well. The HECU gets up quickly preparing to attack...only for a small group of bullsquids to emerge, who begin chomping on the HECUs limbs. He screams as the bullsquids begin taking their prize away. Gordon watches emotionlessly while Snark Uzi is astounded "That...WAS SO FREAKING COOL!...where's N?" A high pitched shriek could be heard from behind a corner. Gordon and Snark Uzi look over to see Snark N running in circles from an angry headcrab, hissing as they try to attack Snark N. "Mr. FREEMAN! UZI! PLEASE HELP!" Snark Uzi watches "Awww, she likes you." Uzi replies sarcastically. Gordon rolls his eyes and snatches up Snark N and plops him on his shoulder. Snark N breathes heavily. "Robo-Jesus...that was intense...Thanks Mr. Freeman." Gordon smiles and quickly turns to see the Headcrab pounce at Gordon. He pulls out his crowbar quickly, batting it away. The headcrab falls into a barnacles waiting grasp as the headgrab is raised into its gaping mouth. "I don't get it" Snark N says, still breathing heavily "Why are we attacking each other? We're all aliens!" Gordon shrugged as they both began to head off. Only for a giant stomping to be heard. Gordon, Snark N, and Snark Uzi all turn around to be face to face. With a gargantua. It stares down at them, it's one red eye glistening. Gordon backs away slowly but notices Snark Uzi approaching the gargantua "Come on! We can take it!" Gordon quickly snatches up SNark Uzi and manages to avoid the incoming flames. 'HOLY CRAP! IT CAN SUMMON FIRE!" Snark Uzi exclaims as Gordon carries her in his hand, sprinting off with Snark N holding on for dear life.
