ANTHONIUS HAD BEEN IN THE middle of a discussion with Chiron and Mr. D at the front porch of the Big House when Grover came running over, screaming at the top of his lungs at the asscrack of dawn.
"GUYS! GUYS!" He shrieked. "I just had a dream—"
"—We are in the middle of something, Grubber—" Mr. D began to say with his typical scowl.
But Grover, who usually didn't have the guts to speak back to Dionysus, interrupted him back, "—This is more important!" He panted, out of breath as if he had run all the way here from the depths of the forest. "I did it! I contacted Percy through our dreams thanks to our empathy link!"
Anthonius, who had been in the middle of sipping his third mug of coffee in the morning, promptly dropped it right on Mr. D's foot, and the god was too stunned to even get mad.
"You found her?" All three of them said in unison.
Mr. D finally noticed the hot coffee all over his shoe and let out a curse. "Oh for fucks sake, Andrew—!"
"—Where was she? Was she okay? Did she say anything?" Anthonius immediately asked as he and Chiron practically crowded around the breathless satyr.
"She was fine!" Grover assured before pausing. "I mean... she looked fine? I think? I didn't have much time to check. I called out to her and she saw me, but then the dream started to pull her away from me. She was trying to tell me something..."
