Kassy & The (very) Random Demon

Run.

The gate started to shut as alarms blared everywhere. My ears hurt from all the noise- Maybe I can open the gate with the axe? I swung hard and continuously and the gate still didn't budge. Damn- At least they got defenses as top priority. Yeah- But its kinda bad-

Angels started coming in the weapons room and swarmed around us- I swung left and right to get some space. I can't stand eyes. Everyone watching makes me anxious and lose sight of what I need to do. They all start closing in when suddenly- I feel free.

POVE CHANGE TO XANDER (in Kassy's body)

"Alright! My turn." Xander?

He started swinging at all of them- This feels so weird..It feels like im swinging but also feels like im floating? He manages to get some space between us and the angels. He ducks under and starts running full speed- WAIT XANDER-THATS THE END OF THE CLOUDS- WE'RE GONNA FALL!! I DON'T WANNA DIE YE-

"Yea yea!Shut up for a sec!!" We jump off.

Im back home? IM IN MY BODY! Xander?-

"hOoohgh- iM heReee" He hokds his mouth. "oH-HOLD ON GONNA THROW UP!-"

Oh- Well at least we arn't sharing my body now..I look down at my hands and- Im still holding the axe!! IT WORKED!!

"Oh my god it worked." Xander stood shook.

"I could just kiss you right now-" I said without thinking.

"...I meannnnn..." Xander returned his smug face.

"Oh shut up-" I stared at the axe for a while.

The plan was to get as high as possible and take out as many as we can untill we find the one doing this. I think the people will be even more angry now- If half mind control meant I could see what was happening with my body and be able to switch back- Then full must mean just standing there unable to do anything.

"We should uhhh..Probably go-" Xander said hesitatntly.

"Yeah- Your right. Cmon" I started walking ahead with the axe.

Instead of walking through the forest, we walked through town instead. All the shops were closed even though it was only 1pm. It looked...abandoned- And then I heard that stupid voice.

"Kassyy~" It. Has come back.

I stood silent. Its like all my anger had been building up all this time. It feels like I am about to snap.

POV CHANGE TO XANDER

Why is it here again? Why?- Hasn't it had enough? We just want to end this. I look at Kassy who has dissapeared. Did-

SLASH.

Thud.

Kassy stood towering over it. His face was completely bloody. Hands that were holding the axe no longer were filled with it. He- Made it bleed with his own hands- With..no axe- It just layed there for a second to process what happened.

"What is this? It feels..so thick and wet-" Everything stopped. "BLOOD!! ITS MY BLOOD- AHHHHHH!!-"

Everything fell silent. My heart stopped. I felt everything that I was told to believe in didn't matter. Kassy stood there and smiled. Suddenly- He stopped. He felt his face and dropped to his knees. Did he realize he killed someone..? Was he being controlled?

I walk closer to him...

What was blood was now black liquid pouring down his face. It was covering his whole face. He tried and tried to take it off. His hands were covered in the stuff. I didn't know what to do- I was-Frozen.. But I want to help.. I hugged him carefully and tried calming him down. The liquid on his face slowly retreated and turned back to blood. I don't know why that happened. But I feel terrified of the thought of that happening again.

POV CHANGE TO KASSY

I get up from my knees and stare at her lifeless body. Its all done and she won't bother us anymore but- Why? Why do I feel so... Empty? Like- I should feel satisfied and glad but. I don't feel fufilled. I don't know what happened to me. It wasn't mind control it was more like all my emotions took hold of me. I'm scared. I don't want to hurt Xander.

"Lets just go Kassy.. Everything will be fine.." He reassured me.

I hope so too.
