I threw the blanket off of my bare legs, now standing up and minimising the distance between me and Enzo. The height between us becoming more prominent and painfully noticeable. I looked up, studying his eyes; gulping as his cold hands grazed and cascaded across my cheek to my chin.

"You know, you getting into a fight with Mattheo is the equivalent of making deals with the devil." I whispered softly, a slight smile creeping its way onto my lips, gazing up at him.

"If i'm the devil in the situation..." Lorenzo said softly, lifting my chin with his thumb to look up at him, "Then you are my greatest sin."

My breath hitched at his words. I felt his warm breath tease onto my face, his lips hovering inches away from mine. I remained eye contact, our eyes so fixated on eachother you could have mistake them for magnets.

I slightly opened my mouth , closing my eyes and mentally preparing myself for the dangerousness of the situation I was willingly throwing myself into; but before our lips could meet; our distance was broken apart at the sound of the obnoxiously loud, wooden doors swinging open. I took a short and extremely brief moment to regulate my breathing back to its original speed before suddenly taking a step backwards.

I was met by the sight of Draco, Pansy, Blaise, and Theo strutting into the room; their faces touched with a hint of concern and lack of idea to what has just occurred.

Thank fuck, I don't think they saw us.

"Draco?" I coughed loudly, clearing my throat.

"Madison," Draco spoke loudly, running over toward me increasing his speed and slowing down as he got closer. "You okay?" He asked, almost examining my face with his eyes.

"Yeah I'm fine" I smiled faintly, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear; taking another step back from Lorenzo. "Lorenzo found me just as I was waking up and helped me get packed up ready to leave."

"Thanks mate," Draco smiled, patting Lorenzo on the back. Completely oblivious.

"Yeah it's no problem." Lorenzo cleared his throat, awkwardly scratching the back of his neck.

"Madison thank god your okay!" Pansy spoke, hugging me so tight it felt like she did more damage than the knock out earlier, "God you took such a hard hit to the ground I thought you were gonna be in a coma for the rest of the year."

"Thank goodness I'm not huh?" I laughed, "What would you do in potions without me hey?"

"Don't know..." She smiled, "Maybe get some work done."

I laughed, pulling away from the hug and trying to hide my once flustered cheeks from the group.

"So uh..." I coughed, "Where's Mattheo?"

"Are you fucking joking?" Draco spoke, the air almost switching tone, "You get knocked out by Mattheo and your first question when you wake up is asking where he is?"

"I wasn't sure if you guys had talked to him since, that's all." I grunted, folding my arms.

"As a matter of fact," Draco raised an eyebrow, "I have spoken to him."

"And?" I furrowed my eyebrows, "What'd he say?"

"Not much." Theo chimed in, "Draco punched him before he could spit the words out."

"DRA-" I began.

Draco threw his hand in front of my face, indicating for me to not speak. "He deserved it. He was black out drunk."

"Exactly," I scoffed, "He was drunk, i'm sure he didn't mean to try and kiss me or knock me out."

Draco's fists clenched; his knuckles turning a shade of white, "That doesn't matter Madison. Him attempting to kiss you and then knocking you out pissed me off. He killed two birds with one stone."

"Fine." I sighed, "Just promise you'll atleast try and have a mature discussion with him by the time he's sober again."

I glanced to my right, taking notice of how uncomfortable Blaise looked. He's not adapted to seeing me and Draco fight, Draco was good at hiding his feelings that way. Pansy however? Seeing me and my brother fight was a daily occurrence for her, and sometimes I begin to think that she legitimately enjoys it.

"I'll think about it." he breathed.

"Thank you. I'll speak to Mattheo lat-" I began.

"Nope." Lorenzo butted in, "Not happening."

"Excuse me?" I huffed.

"If your going to go talk to Mattheo, consider me your chaperone." Enzo spoke, holding his head confidently and digging his hands into his trouser pockets.

"Fuck sake." I swore under my breath, "I don't need bodyguards, I'm going to speak to him later...when he's sober, i'm capable of looking after myself, thanks."

I shot Draco a sarcastic glance, not daring to look at Lorenzo incase I kissed him right then and there. After the stunt we just pulled; I wasn't willing to take any chances.

'Now if you don't mind..." I sighed, "I have a Herbology class to get to."

I threw my backpack over my shoulder, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear and swiftly leaving the hospital wing in a rush.

As I strutted through the seemingly empty Hogwarts corridors; I forced myself into the Slytherin common room; running my way up the staircase and into my dorm before quickly changing into my usual Slytherin attire. I began to tighten my tie, stepping outside of my door and tilting my head at the dorm room standing infront of me.

The door read the initials, 'M.R + L.B'

I stood like a boulder, gazing curiously at the sign. Pondering to myself for a minute before smirking.

It wouldn't hurt to talk to Mattheo now, would it?
