ERIC

After what happened yesterday I was happy to know that Alison was still alright and thriving but since she wanted to fight against me I wasn't going to let her win easily.

I heard a knock on my door, come in I said, your up early my mom said as she brought in breakfast, I know that she wants something from me when she brings breakfast to my room.

You didn't go to work today I asked, you forgot? Forgot what? Your dad's coming today, then the realization hit me it was Saturday with what happened on Thursday and Friday I totally forget that he was coming today.

"You forgot right" she said, no problem she smiled just have breakfast and come down to help me they is still much time left before your dad comes, she dropped the food on my side table then gave me a kiss on my head, "be good" she whispered. I knew what she meant all the time when my dad comes we always argued and it worsened our relationship more than it already was, I'll try I said.

It's been 6 hours and I currently heard the door bell ring, Eric eric open the door it must be him my mom shouted, I went downstairs then opened the door. Good afternoon dad i said in Chinese, (we had this rule the anytime my dad was around we would always speak in Chinese so that he doesn't think I forgot my "roots")

Good afternoon he replied then entered, "hi darling" my mom said acting all happy and Loving, how was your flight?she asked, bad he replied "I'm hungry serve me.

20 minutes later food was all over the table my mom cooked like we were having a feast, with different types of dishes, chicken ,rice,kimchi, steamed bun, noodles,bao burgers, dumplings etc.

We started eating in silence and honestly I wished we had continue eating like this cause I was in a good mood and I didn't want anyone to ruin it.

How's school? He asked, fine I replied it's different from my other school but I'm getting used to it, different he asked? Yes it i- before I could finish replying him, something kicked me from my left "ow" I said then turned to see my mom shaking her head.

What do you mean different from your old school, my dad said, nothing I replied ERIC YOUNG he shouted WHAT. DO. YOU. MEAN . DIFFERENT.
"Honey i wanted to tell you" my mom said, "well too late"he replied, you still haven't answered my question eric.

Yes I meant different from my own school because I changed my school, WHAT he shouted why ? I was expelled for my old school, expelled he became more enraged, what did you do? I beat up a classmate and his still in the hospital I said then I looked at him up in his eyes, It wasn't my fault i- but before I could finish my sentence he slapped me to right into my face, I didn't flinch this wasn't the first time he has done it but him not letting me explain myself before he took action was what angered me.

Honey" my mom said as she tried to reach out to him, he pushed her making her fall down, mom" I said as I tried to reach out for her but he stopped me, "you are a disgrace to every young that has ever been born and ever will be" how could you get expelled he shouted, and you he said as he pointed at my mom, it all your fault if you didn't spoil him like this he would've never even thought of fighting, Thalia would never do anything like this, and that was the last straw I could take before I busted out, I know you wish it was me that died that day not Thalia trust me I do too.

I said then walked up to my room, ERIC my dad shouted ERIC YOUNG COME DOWN THIS INSTANT, i didn't care what he said I just wanted to get out of here.

3 hours later I heard a knock on my door, can I come in? My mom asked, you can" I replied, hi she said in a low voice I looked up to see her, she looked tried and her eyes were red as if she cried, you okay love ? I'm fine I said, where's dad ? He left, listen his angry now but later he'll calm down.

This always happens I said, It's alright she said as she sat close to me on the bed and held my hand, "It's fine" she repeated once again, you didn't tell him that I changed my school I asked?

How could I when I knew this would be the outcome, it's all my fault I said, not it's not , if I had told you not to bring this matter up, none of this would've happened so don't blame yourself.

She smiled then I smiled at her, alright let me get  cleaning, she said as she stood up your dad made a mess like always, mom why don't you just divorce him?  Because I love him she replied, you'll understand when you get older . They your favorite she said as she pointed the tray on my side table. Chicken soup dumplings I made them just for you.

Also Eric she said before she locked the door "it was never your fault it never will be" I would do the same if I had to , she said as she locked the door.

She didn't mention it but I knew what she was talking about.

I opened the tray bedside me to see the soup dumplings, I can't remember the last time I took it because my dad banned it . But my mom made it especially for me so I had to take it.
