"Are you sure I should go mom?" I asked my mother she came back from the hospital yesterday and today was Monday which means I have to go camping for four days I didn't want to go, I wanted to stay with her but she didn't let me.
"I'm fine seriously, the incident wasn't even serious they just made me stay in the hospital because they wanted to check if I'm healthy" she said as she rolled her eyes "I'm thirty six 'm not that old".
"You really have to be careful about your health mom you hardly take care of yourself so please for my sake" i said as I folded my hand
"okay okay just know your still going, go kick those other universities asses show them who's boss" she said while I laughed
" I love you" I said as I hugged her "I love you to my special baby girl" she always called me that she thinks I don't know why she calls me that but maybe I do.
"Okay okay, I'll leave but I'll wait till the nurse is here" I said trying to have more time with her but to my bad luck the bell rang as soon as I finished my last sentence, I rolled my eyes while my mom laughed.
"Okay ali get going" she said as she playfully pushed me "Also don't forget to greet eric for me" she said while I eyed here "seriously mom?" "what I like him if you don't date him I will". she replied
"Mom!" I shouted that's my mom still as shameful as ever, when I was about to leave she said something "if he makes you happy go for it" I looked at her confused.
"I'm your mother and also your best friend I always know things, some things you don't know some things you refuse to tell me" she said.
"Well let me tell you something nothing's going on between me and eric, you're mistaken his only being nice to me so that I'll let my guard down and he'll get the internship" I told her
"Children of this generation" she said while I looked at her "Okay okay your highness if you say so" she said I couldn't help but smile " get going you don't have much time, so get going " she said
I left and I couldn't help but touch my forehead where Eric kissed me last Friday I was shocked and normally if a guy had done this I would've slapped the guy but for Eric I don't know why I didn't do it, i don't know whether I liked it or not but it did distract me from my mom's accident.
I packed my bag and even though it was just for four days i packed a lot of things, three hours later we were all infront of the school my eyes was checking for someone I didn't know why.
"Looking for me" I heard a deep voice I turned and saw it was Eric "no… yes..no" (oh my God Alison what are you saying get a hold of yourself) "yes yes I was looking for you I.. erm"
"You okay?" He asked "yes I am just hungry". Alison what are you saying "but I'm fine".
"Well I'm sure even if your hungry that won't be a problem " he replied.
"Huh" I asked confused "well you have three huge luggages with you so I'm sure they something you can eat" he said "yes you know this two luggage have my clothes skincare etc and just this one" i said pointing at the biggest luggage "has about a bunch of snacks".
"Well I guess if I'm hungry I know where to come" he said while my head was thinking that he meant something else i couldn't look at him so I slowly looked down he wanted to leave but I held his hand.
"Thanks" I said, I didn't say I was thanking him because of what happened on Friday but i think he got it. he gently held my chin using his thumb and index finger he made me look at me and I saw that he was smiling.
"My pleasure" he said then left I couldn't help but smile. Thirty minutes later we all were in the buss I don't know why but I feel like after this four days my life is going to change. I went by my seat and I saw damon as my seatmate.
"Hi" i said as I sat down, he looked at me smiling "how are you" he asked "great" I replied. "Thank you" I said I should also thank him he cared about me to call me and I'm so grateful to have him as a friend "for what?" he asked.
"You called me on Friday and that meant alot to me" "oh yeah I did maya called me asking if you were with me" "she really does have everyone's number" I mumbled under my breath. " Did you say something" he asked "no nothing" I replied
Then suddenly he held my hand I felt weird it wasn't the feeling I felt when Eric does it, I tried to let go but he didn't suddenly I heard a girls voice I turned and saw it was Olivia.
"Alison can I talk to you?" She said in which he finally left my hand I stood up and she said something in my ear "can we please exchange seats" she whispered to me I looked at her and smile I got my bag then left "my seat is number 15" she said.
I didn't know why she wanted to change seats but I didn't care I walked up to the seat and I saw Eric sitting "you" I said as I rolled my eyes, inside I was happy atleast I was comfortable with Eric I mean I was with damon but I felt as if I can let down my guard with Eric.
"What are you doing here" he said looking annoyed what he didn't want me to sit with him "if you want I can change seats with someone else" I said as I tried to stand up but he held my hand "just sit don't disturb others" he said without even looking at me
"Okay what ever" I replied while rolling my eyes I didn't know what his problem one minute his nice the next minute his an asshole. I sat then put on my airpods I started listening to my song suddenly someone took one of the airpods I turned and saw it was Eric "hey what are you doing" I said while trying to make an angry face but I felt as if I just made a pout he smirked not saying anything then he put one on his ear.
"Good, i like your taste of music"he said while smirking I didn't have time for him so I just let him . We both listened suddenly I felt someone head on my shoulder i turned and saw it was Eric, "wake up" I whispered but he didn't even budge "idoit" I whispered as I let him.
Three hours later someone was waking me up "Ellie,wake up we are here" I heard a voice I woke up and saw I was on Eric's shoulder what the hell was I doing there "what happened?" I said in a sleepy voice "You slept I didn't know if I should wake up or not" he said scratching the back of his
"How..I mean you were the one sleeping...how did I...sleep" I asked confused when the hell did I sleep on his shoulder.
Before he could reply the teacher called us "is everyone out of the bus?'' he asked. ''We should go" Eric said
Later all of us got settle in and of course my roommate was Olivia
"Hi rommie" she said as she entered the tent I closed my eyes and whispered "God please let me survive this four days, please ".
"What were you whispering about?" she said as she put her bag "I.."but before I could talk she cut me off
"To be honest I don't care, I have a date" she said happily.
"Ohh poor guy." I whispered "with who?" I asked.
