CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

It was Tuesday and we were getting our results for the test.

Okay guys" our science teacher said as she arranged the test paper, she shared it to everyone and she gave Alison her own while she was busy looking at me .

I got my paper and even before I could look at it she looked at me "soo what did you get?" She said looking curious, "what did you get?" I asked her, "I got 99 and you".

"98" I said as I looked in my paper which was actually 100 old me would've shoved it in her face but I didn't want to, I quickly arranged the test sheet so she wouldn't notice, I turned and saw her smiling she wanted to say something but a voice interrupted her.

"I got 95" someone said I turned to see Damon who the hell asked him, I thought as I eyed him up and down meanwhile Alison was smiling at him, "really" she said as she got his paper form him I looked as Damon touched Alison's hand while giving his paper to her, but it seems she didn't seem to mind at all. "It's good" she said as she smiled at him "am proud of you" she said then patted him on his shoulder, I couldn't help but cough Alison looked at me while I looked at her angry, "if your sick you should've stayed home" she said not even looking at me then turned to Damon, I couldn't help but feel something in me I didn't know what that was but I just wanted to Punch damon and to top it on that they were seatmates in this class.

"Okay guys let's continue the teacher said I wasn't during focused this class I literally didn't look at anyone except Alison who was busy smiling and laughing at Damon I wanted to cut the hand he was using to touch her.

"Okay students" the teacher said, more like Alison and Eric she said as we both look at each other. We have a proposition to you guys.

"This end of the year exam is going to be different it won't be like others it will determine your future".

"don't all the exam's determine our future" a girl said, "yeah but this one is different" the teacher replied.

"You guys know lifeline medical hospital center right" yeah we all said, "only the best hospital in the states" a girl said.

"Well whichever student has 1000 points which is the highest point for this exam will get a chance to get an internship next year, and who knows maybe even work there" she said everyone was happy but Alison wasn't just happy it was as if she was in heaven.

The bell rang and everyone left Alison also I went and thank God she was alone, Ellie I said as turned back to me. "What?" she said as she raised an eyebrow, "i-", "if your trying to tell me that your going to get that internship instead of me then go to hell" she said as she smiled, "well not that I said even though I will get the internship" i said smiling while she hissed.

"Then what?" She asked, "Just be careful with Damon" I said.

"Really, thank you for telling me that after all his after me to harm me she said as she rolled her eyes, if there's anyone I should be careful about it should be you" she said as she started walking.

Touché, "also Eric" she stopped then turned around, "l'd rather die than let you have that internship" she smiled then left. That was good I said to myself as I signed .

LATER THAT DAY

We had physics and we had to do an experiment, of course like always we had to be two and I was with Alison. "Let's get this over with " she said as she put on her lab coat, "first time I agree with you " I said as I put on my safety goggles.

Luckily we didn't fight so we were able to finish early, the bell rang and I turned to get my backpack but it was open and everything fell.

"Oh I'll help you" Alison said and before I could stop she started getting things, suddenly she picked up a paper I saw from behind and it was the science test of today.

She looked at me and I didn't see anything on her face, angry nor sadness she just dropped the paper then left.
