Now, Elodie had grew up in an unstable home with a psychopath mother and a father who was drunk or high on a daily. Even in the morning. Whenever her mother would have an episode, it was was pure chaos– her father would act up, fight with her mother because he never understood what was going on, never even tried to get help for his wife and so they both always took their anger out on either Elodie or her sister, her soulmate; the only person in her life who had ever kept her sane was her twin sister, Eliana. They had been each other's rocks– given how they were loners at school and whilst Elodie preferred it that way, Eliana wanted to make friends but they both knew better.

Losing a parent was one thing but losing a twin was another. Elodie had felt like she'd lost a part of herself in the process of her sister's death, and she did lose a part of herself. A big part. The night everything had been taken away from her, Elodie's father had gotten the blonde sent away because she'd just lost it. Absolutely hysterical at the sight of her sisters dead body- it had completely destroyed her and she had made a promise to herself that she would find whoever it was that had taken away the innocent girl's life because it seemed her parents didn't care enough to find their daughter's killer.

When she'd gotten out of the hospital, Elodie had used all her savings to build her own life, separating from her parents. However, no matter how desperately she wanted to leave town, she couldn't. Not until she'd find the person who had killed her poor sister. Although, she had completely cut off her parents, news still travelled to her about them, whether she liked it or not. There would never really be an escape from her past, not when her family had been the talk of the town ever since their birth.

PERSONALITY —
Elodie is a terrible girl — or so what everyone else seems to think about her, ever since high-school, she'd been painted as this mean girl, in contrast to her sister who was an absolute angel and so it'd always been difficult for her to make friends. Simply because of her image around town. However, she never really cared, she still doesn't care and sometimes she even indulges the idea that everyone seems to have about her. She's straightforward, will never beat around the bush and brutally honest. She has a slightly short temper and hates how much she resembles her mother, but self loathing only gets you pitied and she hated nothing more than being pitied by outsiders. People she didn't like– which was everyone– Despite her cold demeanour, Elodie can be somewhat nice, only if she can tolerate the person.

Elodie tends to steer clear away from commitment or relationships in general. She knows she isn't mentally prepared or stable for a committed relationship but just as every other person, she does wish to feel some semblance of love or even admiration – whether it be platonic or not. Trust is one thing Elodie cannot afford to give or lose, she'd always been so reserved and keeps to herself more than she'd like to but the fear of being left alone once again makes it all the more easier for her to keep her walls up.
