Serena kept practicing her fighting skills before the preparation.
She decided to have a break as she began to do the meditation trying to forget her fear of Shang Tsung granting her wish of Darien breaking her heart, but it didn't work.
Serena began to have flash memories of Darien, remembering the night she had made her angry wish.
She also saw one of her friends and her mother being held captive by Shang Tsung's grip.
But even worse is when she can't stop thinking about Liu Kang, Serena imagined him as a mighty Shaolin Warrior dancing with her in the Moon Kingdom and was about to kiss.
Serena shook her head, forgetting the meditation and decided to have a short walk while having a break from training.
"Why can't I stop thinking about him?" said Serena
Sonya appeared and talked to her.
"Isn't it obvious, that You are in Love?" she asked
"Oh Sonya, what am I going to do?" said Serena
"Tell him how you feel." said Sonya
"I'm sure he'll love you back."
Serena agreed to Sonya's advice.
