"Don't worry, everyone. I won't let Shang Tsung take you all away from me, I'll free you all." Serena said, looking at the dawn sky.
"Shouldn't you be training?"
Serena flinched as she turned around at the voice and saw Liu Kang standing not too far from her.
"Sorry, I couldn't train," Serena admitted.
"Something on your mind?" Liu Kang asked, coming to her side.
"Don't worry Serena we'll help you find a way to defeat Goro and then get the Legendary Silver Crystal back to you, I'll also protect you from Shang Tsung. I promise." Liu Kang said.
Serena smiled softly at his words, Liu was right, He did promise her that he would protect her when they first met.
He even promised to help her find a way to defeat Shang Tsung to get the Crystal, her friends, her mother, and her home back.
"Thank you, Liu Kang." Serena said.
Then she didn't expect this to be so romantic. However, she leaned forward and kissed his lips, causing Liu to blush heavily.
His kiss felt so familiar before, but she knew she was kissing another guy other than Darien! She stayed relaxed She closed her eyes as his lips consumed hers.
As quickly as it happened, the kiss was over. Serena pulled away realizing what she did, " Oh My God, I'm so sorry, Liu!... I shouldn't have done that!"
Serena was skittering trying to explain herself but Liu cut her off by returning her kiss this ttime with more passion by the Sunset.
"It's About Time!" yelled Johnny making Liu and Serena blush.
