"Mindie Min~" Jin sang as he and Jungkook walked into Minduelle's house, using the spare key all seven of them had. "It's Jinnie and Jungkookie!"
"Hyung." Jungkook sighed softly, sliding his shoes off. "She hates that."
"She probably still has her hearing aids off anyways." Jin mumbled back, also taking his shoes off.
"I know." Jungkook lifted the lunchbox he was carrying. "She won't eat either."
"We can still try."
"Noona." Jungkook knocked on Minduelle's room, waiting a few more seconds. "We're coming in." Jungkook opened the door, seeing that she and her room were the exact same from when he visited her this morning.
Jin and Jungkook glanced at each other before walking in, setting some bags down.
"Hey Deiji." Jin greeted the cat, the lady cat standing up from Minduelle's arms.
Minduelle moved a little from her laying position on her bed, running a hand down Deiji's back, not saying a word. She didn't move at all either, on her side, her back to Jin and Jungkook as Jin sat down on the bed behind her.
"Minduelle, Hon." Jin ran a hand up and down her back, Minduelle not even facing him, not even flinching. "Hey." Jin said gently, trying to get her to roll over, but she pulled back.
Jungkook walked around the bed, squatting down beside her. He put his chin on her bed, smiling softly at his friend who refused to look at him. "Hi Noona."
Minduelle remained staring at the wall, not saying a thing, hardly blinking, just imagining that they weren't there. That they weren't bothering her. That they weren't disturbing her peace. Minduelle reached behind her and pushed Jin's hand off her back, pulling her covers up to her shoulders soon after.
Jin put his hands in his lap, sighing again, looking to Jungkook.
Jungkook stared at Minduelle with his big eyes, refusing to look away until she looked at him. It took several minutes, but finally did. Jungkook didn't look away as she stared at him, her eyes not moving from his eyes. Until finally, she held out her hand for his.
Jungkook gave her his hand, knowing what she wanted to see.
Minduelle studied his bruised and cut knuckles. But she knew he was getting better.
She let go of his hand and closed her eyes.
"Hey, don't you want to check on me?" Jin chuckled softly, tickling her shoulder lightly. "Right, Min?" He forced the smile to stay on his face, Jungkook giving him a pitiful look. "At least she looked at you for a bit."
"She's mourning, Hyung." Jungkook reached out his hand and moved some hair from her face, Minduelle reacting immediately.
She pulled the covers up and over her face, startling everyone, including Deiji.
"Please leave." Her voice was quiet and muffled, but loud enough for everyone to hear.
"Come on Hyung." Jungkook stood up, pulling an ottoman closer to him. "Let's just leave the food here and send her a text. She reads them."
"Alright." Jin reluctantly agreed, handing Jungkook one of the lunchboxes, letting him set it up. Jin, in the meantime, filled up Deiji's bowl for her and brought over one of her small fish plushies, in case Deiji wanted some company.
'Thank you Kitten.' Deiji watched Jin move around. 'But I'm okay. I need to take care of my Baby.'
"Bye Min." Jin said to the deaf lady laying in her bed, standing at the door.
