"Dinner went well." Jungkook commented as he walked into his hotel room, Minduelle holding the door open for him.

"It went... yeah." Minduelle mumbled, the two of them returning from having dinner with Yoongi, Hoseok, Taehyung, and Jin. Namjoon was already asleep and Jimin refused to even open the door.

"We really appreciate your apology, Min." Jungkook reassured, stepping into his kitchen. "Water? Wi-" Jungkook stopped himself. "Apple juice?"

"You have apple juice?" Minduelle cracked a smile, pulling her suitcase towards the couch.

"Heck yeah." Jungkook pulled out a gallon of apple juice. "Never leave home without it. Want a glass?" Jungkook offered, pouring himself a cup.

"Sure, actually." Minduelle agreed, tossing her backpack on the couch before plopping down. Minduelle wanted to ask Jungkook if he needed any help carrying the glasses, and she probably should, but she knew that'd make him a little upset. He needed his independence. If he needed help, he'd ask for it.

"Mmm!" Jungkook hummed happily, using his crutches to walk into the bedroom area. He had a cup in his mouth, eyes bright and happy. "Just for you." Jungkook handed her the cup. "I gotta make another trip." Jungkook laughed to himself, making his way back to the kitchen.

Minduelle smiled to herself, taking a drink of her apple juice. 'Dinner... was exhausting.'

following scene is a flashback to the dinner. text will not be italicized.

Minduelle pushed her plate away from her, taking a deep breath. "Can I say what I need to say, now? I can't wait until after dinner."

"I was thinking the same." Hoseok smiled sheepishly, folding his napkin, it previously on his lap. "I just don't want this awkward tension between us all anymore. It's been so suffocating, even before you were here Min."

Taehyung nodded, sipping on his water, slowly setting it down before looking over at Minduelle. "How do you want to do this? Can we say what we want? And your words can follow? No one interrupts each other?"

"Yes, anything, of course." Minduelle agreed immediately. "Please." Minduelle gestured to them, sitting at the head of the table. The hotel was able to fulfil their request for a private room and a dinner. It was simple pasta and bread, nothing fancy, something easy to prepare.

"The night at your house, the sleepover night, I don't regret anything I did." Taehyung pressed his hands on the table, smoothing out the table cloth, staring at his plate. "I know what it's like to lose a grandmother, one who was like a mother. I understand your pain and I understand you had to have some kind of output for your pain. And for you, it was drinking.

"When I tasted that alcohol in your water bottle, I... I was so scared for you Noona." Taehyung looked up at Minduelle, Minduelle nodding, tears in her eyes. "I know you couldn't see it at the time, but I could see you were leading yourself to certain death. That's why I woke everyone up. That's why I really highlighted the situation, because I didn't want to lose you."

"And, we understand why you said and did the things you did." Jin spoke up. "That night, it wasn't you, Minnie. I know it wasn't you and you know it wasn't you either. You were mourning and you were under the influence and feeling the effects of it after several days. We know you didn't mean anything that you said."

Minduelle kept nodding along, her hand quickly wiping a tear away before returning to her lap, ripping apart a paper napkin.

"It really hurt though." Jungkook glanced over at Minduelle. "I've never heard you scream before, Noona, so it was really scary. And I just, since we're being honest, I just wanted to let you know. I..." Jungkook adjusted his weight in his seat, leaning side to side as he did. "Your words mean a lot to me, Noona. And hearing you say we were, worthless and awful to you, it really hurt."
