"Elena drop it already" Maya warned. Elena smiled up at her, "Well it was so long ago it's obviously not a secret anymore." Maya swirled her drink in her cup- "Alright, let me help tell it." Everyone in the room turned they're focus straight to Maya. "So while Elena and I were sleeping together, she had spent some time with David." Elena rolled her eyes and looked up. "alright alright enough-" She put her hand over Maya's lips. Maya was quick to get a grip on Elena's smaller hand and held on tight. "Yeah using two people at the same time to fuck. Cause she was that bored with herself. And boom! She got pregnant."
Maya dropped Elena's hand and crouched down to her level- "Isn't that right?" - Before Elena could give a proper reaction Maya's glass was dropped out of her hands, "One hand on her-" The random man began, but Elena grabbed him by the arm, she looked back at Maya aware that everyone was staring at the three of them. "We're leaving. Thanks for the party." She waved at everyone in the room and left without saying anything else. She was holding David, the man, Who was flipping the party off while being dragged out of it by Elena.
"what the hell was that for?" David asked out of breath. "Better than giving Maya the reaction she Probably wanted!" I respond. He nodded and walked towards the elevator, "Well next time she wants to talk shit about you I'll mess her up for sure." I patted his back and tightened my lips pretending to act like that wasn't one of the corniest things I've heard since 9th grade..
oh. Elena. That's my name- I'm a 23 year old who was also a pretty young mom. David, the guy who just threatened Maya, and I had a secret relationship while I was having a secret relationship with Maya at the same time..Yeah not my proudest moment. so a couple years ago while I was in my senior year of high school I did date Maya Behind closed doors. I was reallyyyy closeted and only like, 10 people total knew. And one night I ran into David, who at the time, was an ex from my sophmore year. He was throwing a party and for old times sake I went without Maya knowing. We started to secretly hook up on random days- And about a year into that I found out I was pregnant halfway through my freshman year of college in February. I was scared shitless. David was Barely 20 and I was 19. And almost half a year into my double life I softly ghosted Maya and she found out once my pregnancy couldn't be hid and broke up with me over text. Regardless I stayed with David. And I do love him like crazy.. And to this day I apologize for not being the most faithful to him. He's a great father to our little girl Diana and provided me the life I dreamed of.
The elevator dinged and We walked out of the lobby, "happy new year!" the lady at the front smiled. "happy new year!" I responded walking out the door. David opened the passenger door for me and turned on the car. He leaned in for a quick kiss and I kissed back. "Is that my apology?" I asked snarky. He nodded and rested a hand on my thigh. "Yup. Now before I drive off are you sure you don't want to say bye to anyone?" He said. "nah." I shook my head, "I'll just text them that I got tired and we went home early for Diana.." He checked the time, "10:34..Really early to leave." David laughed. I smiled back and looked out the window, "Its fineee" I waved my hand and he drove off. He gently put a hand on my thigh, "Sorry for being hot-headed." I smiled light. "aww it's alright; You were trying to protect me."
"Well what was Maya even saying?" I turned to look at him- "You're telling me you didn't hear her at all?" He shook his head and chuckled, "All I saw was her put her hands on you and I got pissed." I let out a deep sigh and rested my hand on top of his. He stopped the car at a red light "Well thank you." He leaned in for a quick kiss. "Least I could do for you.."
-at the house-
"So wanna lock in the new year together?" David asked grabbing my waist- "Sounds like a deal amor" I smiled kissing his cheek. He grabbed my face and we made out for a while. I tapped his shoulder and he carried me to the bedroom closing the door behind him.
