Back in my room, I dressed with clothes I grabbed from my closet. Kristelle just sent me a message, saying I should prepare myself for a pool party.

An hour later, she was able to locate my house and I heard her car honk outside.

"May tao sa labas," Mama yelled.

I went out of the room and quickly headed to the door. "May pupuntahan lang akong party," I told her.

"Sige, 'wag magpapagabi. 'Wag babyahe na lasing," she reminded.

I rushed past the yard and through the gate, and there, I was greeted by the two, and someone's guy. "Wow, so pogi naman," Annie gushed.

Annie and I took the back seat, while Kristelle was riding shotgun and her boyfriend took the driving. With their croptops and shorts, it really seems we're heading to a pool or beach party.

"LET'S GO!" Annie showed her excitement, and the car started driving out of the place.

Kristelle introduced me to her boyfriend, Dave. He seemed nice, and they looked good together. I could feel the chemistry between them.

Meanwhile, Annie told us her boyfriend can't join us tonight to attend some special occasion, but she's pretty sure she'd be having fun with us.

She even told me that some of our old friends will be going to the party too, so it's too impossible for her that she can't find her people. It'll be sort of a mini-reunion event tonight.

Little anxious upon hearing that, knowing I haven't seen them for years. In fact, not all of them had ended on good terms with me back then.

"Hey," I spoke. "Don't leave me alone. Baka mailang ako mamaya sa kanila."

"Don't worry. We won't leave you," Annie assured.

While we were driving out of the city, the girls couldn't contain their excitement. Of course, they shared some gossip and I couldn't deny, some of what I had just heard was awful. Cheating allegations, breakups, and even charges? I might have to consider myself living under the rock—all this time.

"Here we are," Kristelle gushed, as Dave parked the car in the resort premises. We got out of the car, and we were immediately greeted by our old friends.

But, tonight's catch, I'll be hiding my identity.

With my sunglasses and a scarf, my face was covered and I will pretend to be Annie's bf. It's their idea by the way, and I just tagged along.

"Sino 'to?" our ex-class president, Lia, asked—pointing at me.

Annie then hurriedly clung to my arm. "Si Solomon, 'yong kinukwento ko sa inyo na bf ko," she lied.

Lia raised her brows. "Weh, 'di ako naniniwa—"

Kristelle dragged Lia away. "Let's go inside na! 'Di ba darating din si ano? Yeah, right..."

After we got our room number, we went upstairs and found our respective places. Dave and Kristelle will be staying together, while Annie will join Lia and some girls in their room. I was left on my own, which was totally fine. The room is good for two, but already enough for me.

And, for sure there are already people at the pool. I can hear the music blasting so loud from there up here. I went to the balcony and immediately saw a lot of guests at the pool area. They were all over the place.

I went back inside after the knocks on my door. I kept my scarf and sunglasses before leaving the room. Annie clung to me again, as I joined the girls from their room. "You're Annie's bf? Grabe, napaka-conservative naman," one of them asked.
