T.S. STORIES #4: Say Don't Go (Completed)

Chapter 19

Day six. Still have no plans going back to the project. Just want to stay at home with Greg until his Ate Gigi will finally fetch him here. She had already told us beforehand that her flight will be tomorrow morning. So, today is Greg's last day of his stay here. And, we're going to buy some pasalubong for his family.

That will serve as my peace offering at the same time.

His wound hasn't healed yet, so his parents will definitely see how bad his scratch was. Nonetheless, he still looks good in his casual clothes despite the arm sling. Hair brushed up, non-graded glasses, and his favorite perfume. I don't like the smell of his perfume though, but why does it smell pleasant when he uses it? It really brings the scent of a man out of him.

"Greg, mags-shopping lang naman tayo. Makabihis ka, parang may pupuntahan tayong event," I commented. "Kung tatabi ako sa'yo, magmumukha akong alila mo."

"Come on, dress up just for today!"

"Dress up ka d'yan. 'Di babagay 'yang suot mo sa dami ng bag na bibitbitin natin mamaya sa grocery store."

We took the van again and drove to the mall. We arrived at the first hours of the mall opening, so we were greeted with a very few strollers. We headed to the supermarket section and grabbed some packed local delicacies. Our goal today was to fill the cart with whatever we could grab as we walked between the shelves.

"Did you check your group chat today?" Greg asked out of the blue.

"Hindi pa," I answered.

Right after we paid everything at the counter, we took a break at the food stall station beside the supermarket. The pasalubong were packed in boxes that we had to carry around with a cart. While enjoying our ice cream, I decided to check my phone and went to our group chat.

There, I saw Kristelle and Annie's messages.

girl @SheenaPrettyGirl can u stop it na ha? super tagal na kaming nagtitimpi sa ugali mong kanal. wala namang ginawang masama si Icarus sayo dba? kakabalik lang niya rito after three years, bibigyan mo ulit ng trauma yung tao. pag yan di na bumalik rito, naku girl ewan ko na lang

Sa truuuu ka jan teh! ano naman kung bf siya?? super bitter mo sa life. kaya siguro walang nagtatagal sayong lalaki

I gasped. What a revelation. Annie did not hold back this time.

@SheenaPrettyGirl di bagay sayo yang nickname mo. yung pagiging pretty, dapat inside and out. sobrang dami mong time mag-make up, nakalimutan mo atang maglaan for character development. Absent ka ba every ESP class ni Mam Dina?

Almost everyone reacted to Annie's chat. She really roasted her ass and everyone saw it.

I didn't notice Greg was already on my side, reading the chat too. And, he laughed, slapping the table out of joy. "See? You don't have to reply. She will eventually get it, but in the most unexpected way," he said.
