As soon as we arrive in the hotel room, I head straight for the bedroom. I'm so exhausted that I even forget to put Boo to bed. I close my eyes, when I hear a rustle in the bed next to me. I peer out from underneath my blanket, only to see Jordan tucking Boo in. I smile.

"Jordan, I have a question" Boo says wearily. All the lights are turned off, so I can no longer see them.

"Yes?"

"Can you sit over here until I fall asleep?"

Even though I can't see him, I know he's smiling.

"Of course.... as long as you don't snore"

Boo giggles, and after a couple minutes, I fall asleep.

When I wake up, it's only 6. I hate waking up early, because there's really nothing to do. But I can't go back to sleep, so I decide to stay up anyway. I try my best to silently roll out of bed, and look around to make sure I didn't wake anyone. Jordan passed out waiting for Boo to fall asleep, so he's sprawled out across the foot of her bed, while Boo is in a ball underneath the covers, both of them snoring. I laugh at the sight, and tiptoe outside. After stepping into the kitchen, I open the fridge, only to find a note from the hotel owner on a box of pancake batter.

Here's some pancake batter for pancakes if you choose to make some. If you would like to spice it up a bit, there's blueberries on the second shelf :)

I grab a pan out of the cabinet, turn on the stove, and set the pan on top of it. I then grab the blueberries and pancake batter from the refrigerator, mix them together, and plop some onto the pan. After about an hour and a half, I had enough pancakes for EVERYONE to have 2. I threw my fist in the air triumphantly, and put the pancakes on a plate on the counter. It was 7:33 by the time I was finished, and now I was bored again. Someone knocked on the door, breaking my concentration on what to do, and I try my best to walk there quietly. Looking through the peephole, I find out it's

"TOM! What are you doing up so early?!" I ask him, opening the door. He laughs and walks straight towards the kitchen.

"To be honest, I have no clue. Are those blueberry pancakes?"

"Yeah, but you can only have 2. Took me almost 2 hours to make. You should be proud"

"Nope. Not at all. You should've added in donuts"

"Who makes donut pancakes- wait, that's a stupid question. Who makes donut pancakes other than you?"

He tosses 2 pancakes onto his own plate, and then tosses 2 onto mine, handing it to me then plopping down on the couch.

"I don't know. But they should start. They would make a bunch of money"

"Thanks- and why don't you just sell them?"

"Because they taste delicious and I don't like sharing"

"Did your parents teach you nothing?"

"Of course they did- I just didn't listen"

I laugh, and take a bite out of my pancake- it's actually pretty good. I pat myself on the back in my mind.

"So... I heard you kissed Jordan yesterday"

I almost choke on the food in my mouth. "Whoa whoa whoa, how'd you know that?"

"You just told me. I didn't know until you thought I knew and freaked out"

"Wait. So you literally just blurted that out and you didn't even know it happened?"

"Yes, Erin, keep up"

Jordan walks out of the bedroom, stretching and yawning. "Good morning sunshine" Tom says, somehow in a very high pitched voice. For a brief second, I wonder if he's a woman.

"I made pancakes" I say with a smile. He laughs.

"Good job. You learned the art of pancake making"

After we all finish eating, we decide to head down to the pool. By now, everyone has woken up, but Sonja and Tucker decide to stay in the room. "Lock the door, kids!" I yell at them as we exit.

"AND DON'T FORGET TO USE PROTECTION!" Tom adds as the door shuts. But before we continue, Jordan opens the door again, and yells "AND PLEASE DON'T USE OUR BED!"

The pool is huge, and the shallow end is mostly filled with kids, so all of us- except Boo, who goes to the shallow end to greet people- are forced to stay at the deep end. Jordan gives Tom a look, and then they both look at me. By the look in their eye, I can tell what they're planning.

"Ok guys, listen, we can talk about this..." I start, but Jordan throws me over his shoulder anyway.

"JORDAN MARON!! DON'T YOU DARE!" I yell, laughing. After a second of us just standing there, Tom pushes BOTH of us in, but I'm quick enough to grab his hand and pull him down with us. We all come up laughing, Jordan and Tom pulling each other underwater and screaming curse words at each other. By now, all the parents were pulling their kids out of the pool, but we didn't care.

"Hey Jordan?" I say.

"Yes?"

"You're gonna pay for throwing me underwater!!"

We spent the rest of the day in the pool, drowning each other and just talking. I'm glad I have these guys as friends.

I'm also glad we might get a house together.
