I look around. Where am I? I turn and see Nathan, and instantly squirm away. But I only move a couple centimeters, before a wall blocks my way.
"You can't run now" he says, taking a step towards me.
"HELP!"
"Screaming won't help you Erin"
"It won't help you, either! HELP ME!"
He pulls out a gun, but doesn't aim it at me. He turns and aims it at another figure.
"DO NOT LAY A HAND ON HIM!"
"Why shouldn't I? He's your boyfriend, you're technically cheating on me with him"
He points the gun at his head.
"Wake up" Jordan says calmly, as if the gun weren't even there.
"What?"
"Erin, wake up!"
"I am awake!"
And then he pulls the trigger, and Jordan's lifeless body falls to the floor. I scream at the top of my lungs, as voices keep screaming at me "WAKE UP! PLEASE!"
"AS SOON AS I GET OUT OF THIS PRISON CELL, I AM GOING TO KILL YOU ALL" Nathan yells

I jolt awake, screaming bloody murder. Jordan, Tucker and Sonja are all in my bedroom at the foot of the bed. Nathan's words keep replaying in my mind, so I cover my ears with my hands to try and get it to stop. I feel Sonja try to hug me, but I can't help but let out another scream. "I'm sorry. I'm just- I need some air. I'm going grocery shopping" I say, shakily rolling out of bed. Tucker and Sonja go back out into the living room, but Jordan stops me before I can leave.
"Are you sure you're ok?"
"Yeah. Just a bad dream"
"What was it ab-"
"Nathan killed you, Jordan. I don't wanna talk about it"
I push past him, Jordan still unable to move, and grab my car keys.

My cart is filled with everything dog by the time I get done- food, food bowls, toys, collars, 2 huge dog beds, treats- so I head to the register. I set all my stuff on the conveyor belt thingie and walk towards the lady at the cash register. "Hello! Thank you for shopping at Walmart! Your total-"
She stops immediately when she sees me. "Oh my god, are you Aurey?"
"Indeed I am"
"Me and my sister love you! I'm Cat by the way, I was on your TV last night! Let me go get Charlotte."
She sprints across the store, and comes back with "Charlotte"
"Charlotte this is Aurey! Aurey, this is Charlotte!"
"Nice to meet you Charlotte!"
"OMG NICE TO MEET YOU TOO. I LOVE YOU"
I smile. I love watching people's reactions. It makes me feel special. Cat steps back towards the register. "I'm sorry! I forgot that you are buying stuff! Your total is [insert total here]! I see you're getting a dog?"
Charlotte takes all the stuff and bags it as she asks the question, putting it into my cart. "Actually, I wanted to get 2 dogs. Since I'm not having babies any time soon, I thought I'd get little furry ones"
She laughs. "Well thank you for shopping here! And talking with us! Hopefully we see you back soon!" She says, turning to the next customer, who looks very angry. Charlotte runs up and hugs me, gives me her phone number, and then I'm off.

The animal shelter barely had anyone there. I guess pet stores appeal to more people. I greet the lady at the counter, and tell her about what I want. "I was wondering if I could have 2 puppies? If at all possible"
Her smile fades.
"If you get 2 puppies, you'll have to get their mother too. They're inseparable, and they're huskies. I apologize for the inconvenience, bu-"
"I'll take them"
Her mouth drops open. "You're serious?"
"I think so"
"OH MY GOSH YOU ARE SERIOUS!"
She pushes a button behind her desk and her voice plays over the speaker: "GIRLS, SHE GOT THE DOGS!"
A bunch of girls race out from the hallway, with all 3 dogs- the 2 puppies in their hands and the mom racing beside them. I smile.
The boys are gonna kill me.
