JORDAN'S POV
My GPS leads me to a large, brown apartment complex called "The Village"
I stop underneath an overhang covering the lobby doors, almost like a hotel. "Thanks for taking me Jordan. If I need anything, I'll call and let you know"
"Ok. I-"
But she closes the door before I can finish. "love you" I finish to myself, starting the car back up again.

AUREY'S POV
I knock on the door of apartment 205, a shirtless Nathan immediately opening it and dragging me inside. "Umm where is your shirt?" I question, moving backwards a little. "One less thing to take off""Excuse me, but if that means what I think it means, I'm going to leave"
I begin to walk towards the door when he tightly grips my arm and pulls me back. "You aren't going anywhere"
"You don't control me"
And then he punches me. My vision goes blurry and I yelp in pain, now only able to see his silhouette. My eye immediately started swelling and bleeding, causing me to fall to the floor and sob. "Leave. And if you tell anyone about this, you won't live to see tomorrow"
I would have to call Jordan to pick me up. How would I explain this to him? "I'm sorry" I say softly, stumbling outside. Jordan will never believe me

I put on my best smile when I see his car pull up, even though I can barely see it. I hop in, hoping he doesn't notice, but he even stops the car and turns to me. "Did he touch you?!" He almost yells. I try to laugh at the pain coursing through my body, pretending like nothing was wrong. "No! He made bacon, and the juice popped in my eye""Don't lie to me Erin. What bacon juice makes your eye swell closed?"
"I'm not lying"
I hated this. Even though me and Jordan just met, we were already good friends, and I'm still forced to lie to him. I look out the window as we ride, and silently cry to myself.
