Jordan offers to drive me home, after everyone leaves the barbecue. "Erin... can I ask you a question?" Says Jordan.
"Sure! Is something wrong?"
"No, I just need advice about someone"
My heart sinks. Why would it be me? Why would he like me anyway? To him, we are just friends.
"What advice do you need?"
"I wanna ask a girl out"
"Ok. First step is to list everything you like about her"
"Ok. Next"
"Next step is to say something corny and funny at the same time"
"Got it"
"And that's about it"
"Ok. Well then Erin, you are funny, weird, always cheerful, the best person ever, filled with glitter, and the greatest girl gamer I've met. And I wanted to know if you wanted to be my butt scratcher"
I laugh, unable to take the smile off of my face. "Of course I will"
"Did I do good?"
"You did great, you sneaky bum you"
"So do we tell Sonj and Tucker?"
"HA. I would never hear the end of it"
"But you WILL hear the end of my bum as you scratch it"
"EWW. JARDON YOU FOOL"

We arrive home at 12 in the morning, Sonja and Tucker in the living room playing video games, and Boo asleep in bed.
"Did you two bang?" I hear Sonja ask.
"No. Shut up" I reply. I hear another voice on the TV. "I'll be right back Cat" Sonja says, Cat yelling "OKAY!" cheerfully. Sonja grabs my wrist and pulls me into a room.
"What are you up to?" She whispers, closing the door and locking it.
"I'm not up to anything"
"You're such a terrible liar. What happened?"
"Nothing happened Sonj"
"If you tell me I promise I won't tell anyone else"
"You promise?"
"That's what I just said, yep"
"Fine. Me and Jordan are dating"
She smirks, and shows me two crossed fingers from behind her back.
"You did not cross your fingers"
"Indeed I did honey. TUCKER!!"
She sprints out the door, but I fling my heels behind me and tackle her. She let's out a screech. "TUCKER ERIN AND FLHGJF"
I cover her mouth before she can say more.
"You promised!"
"I tricked you. HA. IN YO FACE"
She gives me a kick in the stomach and I double over, giving her time to crawl her way into the living room. I make it there just in time. "TUCKER, ERIN AND JORDAN ARE DATING"
Jordan spits out his juice, Tucker screams (at first I thought it was Sonja), and the Cat girl squeals at the top of her lungs. "CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME WHO THE GIRL IS ON OUR TELEVISION?!" I yell. Sonja turns her attention from Tucker to me.
"SHE'S CAT, SHE'S A FAN, SHE NOW KNOWS YOUR PERSONAL LIFE"
"HI AUREY I'M CAT AND I LOVE YOU"
"HI CAT- WHY ARE WE YELLING?"
"BECAUSE IT'S WHAT I DO WHEN I PANICK"
Boo pops out of her room with an air horn. "PANICK?" She asks frantically. It was a safety word we agreed to use for robbers.
"NO BOO DON'T-"
"PANICK!!!" She squeezes the air horn, causing us all to scream.
This definitely wasn't what I imagined would happen.
