Also just as a heads up, I'll only be uploading one chapter this week coming so that I can get caught up!

Anyways... enjoy!

Taylor couldn't believe that Alessia had been so forward in organising for them to meet up and discuss things.

It felt like they were finally making progress with it all, but part of Taylor wondered if it was years too late for that.

All she could do was wait and see how things were going to turn out, and if it wasn't as bad as how she was imagining things to be, then maybe they would be okay after all.

It had been several days since Alessia had texted her to meet up, and tonight was the night that they had arranged.

Amidst meetings for the next leg of her tour, and trying to make up for lost time with friends, all Taylor could think about was the brunette.

Alessia never left Taylor's thoughts, and she wanted it to remain that way. This could be the start of something new, and Taylor wasn't for letting that one pass.

"Hey, you might meet Alessia soon, Dibbles." Taylor spoke to her cat who sat purring on her lap.

She sat for a short time, scrolling through the endless television channels that had nothing on that could even entertain her for a short while.

Taylor knew she had to get ready soon as time was ticking on and the last thing she wanted was to be running late. She knew how much Alessia hated people being late.

Removing Dibbles from her lap, Taylor walked through her house towards her bedroom and looked through the numerous dresses that she had just sitting there. Many of them she had worn before, mixed with the ones that she hadn't yet worn.

After a while of deciding, Taylor finally landed on a short black Cadieux dress, finding it fitting given the person that she was going to meet.

Taylor almost wanted to impress the other woman, but she also had to remember this wasn't a date. This was her opportunity to try and patch things up again and get back to how they once were. Or close enough.

Finishing her makeup off, and gliding the red lipstick across her lips, Taylor got to fixing her hair. She didn't want to do too much to it, kind of liking the way that it was that day, plus it also went with the style she wanted with her dress.

Once she was dressed and ready to go, Taylor looked down at Mer who was laid beside her. "Oh how I wish that I could be a cat." Things must be so lucky for them.

Taylor looked at herself in the mirror again, and shook her head. "I need to change my hair, ugh." she groaned and flung her head back in annoyance. Rather than spending too much time on it again, she decided to style her hair into a french plait, thinking that was the easiest option.

Once she was happier with her look, she said goodbye to her cats and went to find a pair of heels.

With her heels on and a jacket on over the top of her dress, Taylor stepped outside her front door to Greg. "I'm ready, let's go." she nodded at him, just as Greg checked his watch, making sure they would make it in good time.

Rather than answering, he lead Taylor out to the car in the underground garage and the two left to go to the restaurant that Alessia had suggested that night.
