Chapter Sixteen

The night ended later than what she had expected it to. Given that Alessia had been away from the public fashion world, apparently she had a lot to make up for and that night, she done just that.

As more and more people began to leave, Alessia took it upon herself to also head out of the door to go and see Taylor. It was late in the night, and she knew that she had just performed her first sold-out show of the European tour, but whenever the two got the chance to message each other that day or talk, it was full of 'I miss you's' so, she was going to follow her heart that evening.

It was fair to say that Alessia had had a drink, or two, and so she was trying to be extra careful with her dress due to the puffiness of it, and the train that followed behind her as she walked.

On the way out to the car that was waiting on her, Alessia's attention was wanted by all the paparazzi that were standing outside, most of them wanting the inside gossip on her relationship with Taylor. However, even she couldn't answer that if she wanted.

Closing the door behind her, she checked the time on her phone, 3am. She knew it was late getting in but she was desperate to see the blonde that had occupied her mind for the last few weeks.

The last text that the two had shared was hours ago, and Alessia could tell that she had fallen asleep early that night. Who could blame her?

On the drive to the hotel, Alessia decided to open up google and typed in 'Cadieux Fashion Week' to see what the critics were saying.

With Paris Fashion Week coming to a close, one event in particular appeared to stand out more than the rest. Cadieux, formally owned by both the Cadieux sisters - Elizabeth and Alessia (now just Elizabeth) - was the highlight of the week. As picked up by the sister of Elizabeth Cadieux, Alessia, the company had veered in a new direction of designs. Cadieux are normally known for their simple colour palette and minimalist look, and yet this time more intricate designs with a large-scale of colour palette. Some may ask why they have decided to make this change, or whether it was a one-off. Others appear to think that it could be from the influence of Alessia Cadieux's lover - Taylor Swift. Yes, that's right, the Taylor Swift, who is also known to wear the company's designs.

Cadieux and Swift were spotted out and about in New York City on various occasions within the last month. There had been rumours of a previous relationship, however neither parties confirmed nor denied the rumours at the time. As much as that is the same now, the two had been spotted walking hand-in-hand out of what looks like their last meal together before they take the world by storm, separately.

Who knows what could be on the cards for the two of them? Stay tuned.

Reading over the article, Alessia rolled her eyes at how easily it was for them to turn Fashion Week into a relationship gossip article. Despite that, the other articles that she read appeared to understand the fashion world a little bit more and focused on what came out of the event. So far, they had good reviews.

Alessia had a bad habit of reading through articles that consisted of her. Ever since her divorce with Joel and the mess that she got into, all it did was tear her down. Tonight felt like another step in the right direction when it comes to positive reviews and a better reputation.

Before she got into a neverending cycle, the car came to a stop and it pulled Alessia out of her trance.

Thanking the driver, Alessia, with help, stepped out of the car and made her way up to the room that Taylor had told her she was staying in. When she arrived on the floor, security were standing there, but thankfully for her, Greg noticed Alessia and lead her to Taylor's room.
