Over the last few days, Alessia had been working her ass off trying to perfect everything for the upcoming collection.

It was work, upon work, upon work, and she had barely made time for herself these last few days as lately, she felt she had a lot to prove. Yet, she wasn't exactly sure why.

Since her night shared with Taylor, texts had been shared, but very few from Alessia's end due to her being so busy.

Not only that, but all she could think about was whether or not Taylor was seeing someone. It shouldn't matter, not really. Yet, Alessia had these funny feelings in her stomach that she used to have only when she was around Taylor. Despite all that had happened, she was still feeling this way.

Alessia didn't know what to do about her feelings. It was all so confusing. So, she dived into her work and barely really left the office due to the amount of muse she was getting as of lately.

"Oh, Nicola, would you mind emailing and setting up a meeting with the hair stylists for next fashion week? I totally forgot to do it the other day." Alessia poked her head through the door to Nicola who was sat outside her office working on all sorts of things.

Sometimes, she never really knew what Nicola done, but she was helpful enough.

Just as she was about to ask her for one more favour, the elevator door opened. Alessia wasn't quite expecting anyone so she was eager to see who it was.

"Taylor?" Alessia tilted her head to the side, confused to see the woman standing there, and she looked to Nicola to make sure she hadn't missed a meeting with her. Thankfully, Nicola shook her head in response.

"I don't have an appointment or anything. I just came to see you... if that's okay?" Taylor clearly looked nervous to ask such a simple question. Was it because she was worried at being rejected?

"Um, yeah. I mean, my office is a bit of a mess. But, come in." Alessia opened the door wider so that Taylor could enter and closed the door behind her.

She quickly tidied the fabrics off the chair for Taylor and moved other pieces around before sitting around at her side of the desk.

"I brought you some coffee and I also made cinnamon buns. They're fresh out of the oven too." Taylor moved forward and placed the items on the desk, whilst Alessia looked at her in awe.

It was a small thing for Taylor to do, but for some reason, it made her heart skip a tiny beat. As much as she was forcing herself to not fall for the blonde again, little things like this made it all the more difficult.

A smile tugged at her cheeks as she opened up the box and picked up a bun, taking as big a bite as she could before mumbling, "These are so good!".

Taylor laughed at her response and shook her head. "You do realise that I got none of that, right?" she took a step forward and brushed away a crumb from the corner of Alessia's lips.

With that small touch, the brunette flinched but didn't move away. "I um- yeah these are - wow, these are great." Alessia was taken aback by the action, and placed down the bun to save for later.

"Well, I spent a few days not hearing from you and I assumed that you were busy with work and the collection and stuff, so I didn't want to annoy you, but I also wanted to make sure you were looking after yourself. So, hence why I brought all this." Taylor smiled over at Alessia, who looked tired yet beautiful all at the same time.

"You didn't need to do all of this, Tay. I just - I have been up to my eyeballs in work lately and Elizabeth hasn't been in the best of moods with me, which I totally get but she's on another level of stress lately and I can't handle her." Alessia chuckled, but she also didn't like the position she was in with Elizabeth. The two hadn't spoken since Alessia essentially turned down the potential offer that she could have gotten.
