The following morning, Alessia woke up with a throbbing headache and dry mouth.
Just as she allowed her eyes to adjust, she noticed that she wasn't in her own bed, nevermind her own house. However instantly, she recognised just where she was.
"No, no, no, no, no!" she mumbled and sat up straighter. Taylor wasn't beside her, however she could only imagine that she had removed herself at some point during the night, as lasts memories came flooding back to her.
Alessia was almost embarrassed to get out of bed and leave the room that morning as she could only assume she looked as bad as what she feels.
Rubbing her eyes rid of sleep, she swung her legs over the side of the bed and stood up, the room instantly feeling dizzy as she did so.
She remained still for a moment before walking over to the mirror and looking at herself. Her hair looked like a birds nest and she looked like she had been dragged through a hedge backwards.
Despite that, she done what she could with her hair and walked into the en-suite bathroom in search of makeup remover. Once she had finally found it, she washed her face, instantly feeling a little bit better.
With a deep breath in, Alessia left the bathroom and walked out into the living area where she was instantly met with the smell of food.
"She's alive!" Taylor laughs to which Alessia groaned in response to. "There's water and painkillers if you need it." Taylor pointed her head in the direction where the items had been left as she began to plate up the food that she had just made.
Alessia walked over and instantly took the pain killers which had been left out, alongside a large gulp of water. "Thank you."
"I don't know if you're hungry but I made some breakfast for you, and there's fresh coffee made too." Taylor finished plating up the food on the two plates and heading towards the other end of the breakfast bar to begin eating.
Alessia got her own plate and fixed up her own coffee, still knowing where everything is, and joined Taylor.
"I'm sorry about last night. I don't really know what brought me here in the first place." Alessia did infact know why she came over. After everything, she still loved her and perhaps it was to do with how well things had went the previous night, but she had missed her.
"Oh yeah? It wasn't because of my super amazing hospitality skills and comfortable bed?"
Alessia laughed. "I mean, they are definitely a good thing, and you're bed is still as comfortable as ever."
Taylor laughed at her comment. "Oh I love that bed. The guest room is comfortable too." Taylor didn't want to let on that she did infact stay in the bed with her the full night. She was scared more than anything to screw it up again, plus she didn't know if that was what Alessia would have wanted. So, Taylor chose the safer option.
Alessia furrowed her eyes at that comment. Was that where Taylor had been since Alessia fell asleep? Or was it where she was hinting at Alessia to sleep the next time that she was to potentially stay over?
Either way, Alessia stayed quiet following that comment and began to pick at the breakfast that Taylor had made for them.
She didn't even know if Taylor was seeing someone. Alessia and her hadn't had that conversation but at the same time, they had only just started talking again. Was she jealous of Taylor potentially seeing someone else? Maybe...
