Watching as Taylor left, Alessia sat back in her seat, trying to take it all in. She couldn't believe that she had met up with Taylor and things had gone so well. However, for whatever reason, she hated seeing the blonde walking away.

Alessia stayed for a while in the bar, her glass getting topped up every so often until she decided that it was time to leave.

She knew that the people working there had already stayed later than what they needed to, so when she was paying, she made sure to leave a sizeable tip that would hopefully be enough for an apology.

By this point, Alessia had had a few to drink and the alcohol was catching up to her as she left the building and the fresh air hit her face.

A smile tugged at the corner of her lips as she thought about her time with Taylor. Her emotions were all over the place, happiness, mixed with sadness at her leaving but Alessia had to get over it.

That night, Alessia didn't use her driver. Instead, she wanted to walk home and really take in the fresh New York air. Okay, well, it wasn't that fresh. But, she needed the air.

As she walked down the familiar streets of New York, it reminded her to walk more. There was so many sights that she hadn't seen in years due to almost being locked away from the world.

The sky was dark, with only the street lights lighting the way, however Alessia found herself walking to one person's house in particular, and it wasn't her own.

Once she approached the house, Alessia pressed the button on the elevator that would take her to the floor she needed, and one the door opened, she saw a man standing outside of it, someone she recognised from years ago.

"Greg! It's been a while, huh?" Alessia smiled as she stepped out of the elevator.

"Miss Cadieux, I didn't think I would see you here tonight. Miss Swift might be asleep but -"

Just at that, the front door to Taylor's apartment opened, clearly having been able to hear the conversation from inside. The blonde's face looked surprised, but happy to see Alessia? She couldn't quite tell.

"What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at home?" Taylor questioned.

"I should be, but I wanted to come and see you." she smiled, the affectionate side to her starting to come out due to the alcohol.

Sighing low, Taylor nodded at Greg and gently took Alessia's arm, bringing her inside her apartment.

Alessia looked around in awe, seeing how much things had changed since the last time that she had been there.

"Hey little kitty." Alessia smiled down at the cat that was purring beside her. "Wait - is this another one?" she questioned, realisation quickly hitting her.

"This is Benjamin Button. The other two will be around here somewhere too." she laughed, watching the interaction between the two. "Do you want a drink? Water, maybe?" Taylor suggested.

"Eugh, water. No. Wine?" Alessia tilted her head to the side.

As much as she could see that Taylor wanted to protest the idea of Alessia having any more wine to drink, she followed the blonde into the kitchen anyway.

"Why are you here at 1 o'clock in the morning?" Taylor laughed, pouring the two a glass of wine each and handing one to Alessia.

"I wanted to see you and you said we agreed we could be friends so... friends hangout and we drink wine and we talk." she grinned widely over at Taylor.

"Fair enough." Taylor laughed and lead the two over to the couch.

Alessia nestled herself into the couch just as Olivia jumped up beside her and she began to stroke her.
