Hanni's POV

—I don't think this will work— I said, passing the ball to Danielle.

I had been mulling over the "plan" and given recent new events I decided to take a new course, I still didn't know which one, I was in the process of finding out.

That's why while Danielle was training on one of the courts in the campus park, I decided to tell her what I had in mind.

—You gave me a month, let's try it — She shot at the basket and scored.

— No, I... mmm... Haerin has started dating that guy, you heard about it, right? — I said and she passed the ball to me.

—I know, I've seen them— She said sadly —He's an idiot— I bounced the ball a couple of times and looked at her — It's not jealousy — I laughed a little and so did she — I swear, Hanni, he is my classmate, he is an idiot — I shot a basket and missed — I don't know how you lasted a whole year seeing Minji with someone else, I've seen them together twice and I want to die.

— I have no idea how I lasted so long, honestly. And at least you don't share a room with that guy, I don't even know his name — I said and Danielle shot a basket and scored again — In my case I had to see Minji there kissing her or talking on the phone, it was horrible and of course, I stayed there like a stupid woman instead of going out.

— So... You don't want to go ahead with the plan? — She passed me the ball — You'll give up so quickly? You don't want to be with Minji?

— Of course I want to... It's not that I've given up, it's that I think there are other ways, now that Haerin is with someone else and Minji will probably have someone else too, do you really think that they will listen to us if they think we're together... I do not think so.

— So, the plan continues, we are going to conquer them — I nodded and this time the ball went in when I threw it — And how? You have it easier, Minji is single — I laughed.

— I've got it anything but easy, believe me.

— Then what do we do? Any ideas?

— Not yet.

We spent a while shooting baskets, we saw the girls from afar, they didn't enter the court, they stayed sitting on a bench.

I met Minji's gaze several times, I didn't even pretend to be looking at her, although I liked her looking at me, her face was somewhat serious, and I didn't like that.

Give me a smile.

— Danielle, it seems like Minji is angry, right? — Danielle looked at her from where we were.

— Not much, she's laughing — I turned around and saw her, just like Danielle said she was laughing.

Seeing her this happy made me want to cross the entire park and go to where she was and fill her with kisses and hugs.

— Get your feet back on the ground, Hanni, you're losing yourself looking at her — She snapped her fingers in front of my eyes, bringing me back to reality; she passed me the ball.

— A few minutes ago, she looked at me and was serious, as if she were angry, now she laughs like a baby. I don't understand her mood swings — I returned the ball and turned to Danielle to stop looking at where the girls were so as to prevent them from realizing that I was piercing Minji with my gaze.

— Maybe she's jealous — We passed the ball back and forth.

—Jealous of what?

—That you are here with me and not with her — She said, I let out an ironic laugh.
