Minji's POV

It's been days since Hanni, and I had that moment of romantic passion.

How are we doing now? I wish I could say I took the plunge and confessed all my love to her, and she reciprocated, and we are happy, and all is love, but nope. We are both like nothing happened, why? I guess it's the fear of saying or doing something wrong that will definitely end what we have created, this "friendship", or whatever.

It's not that we're avoiding each other, we just don't talk about it.

I was walking through the corridors when I came across a most peculiar scene.

My dear friend Haerin and my best friend Danielle were kissing, they were so busy that they did not notice my presence.

— This is a public place— I shouted behind them. Danielle held out her arm, signaling for me to leave, still kissing my friend.

— Stop for a moment, leave her alone, girl —I pulled her away from Haerin — Are you going to explain this to me?

—Mmm — they were both in front of me — Okay, look — she grabbed Haerin and kissed her, just like in the movies, and I was still there watching.

And it seems to me that saying about that polar opposites attract one another is always true.

—Okay, okay, I get it— I approached Danielle and pointed my finger at her — You make my friend suffer and you won't live to tell the tale — then I turned to Haerin in the same way — You make my friend suffer and you don't count it either — they laughed —And well, I'm happy for you guys and stuff — I gave them a hug.

We were talking for a while, they explained to me how Danielle confessed. I kept looking at them, they were very loving, they tried to behave normally because they didn't want to make me uncomfortable, but I could tell they wanted to have some "alone" time together.

Danielle had to leave for training but not before having her romantic moment with Haerin as she said goodbye, while I could do nothing but watch.

We went to Haerin's room.

—Minji, doesn't it bother you that I'm with Danielle? —I was surprised by the question.

—What? Why would that bother me? Of course not.

—I don't know, she's your best friend and I'm your other best friend, isn't that hard to accept?

—You're happy with her, she's happy with you, that's all that matters to me.

—You know, I'm going to confess something to you, one of the two reasons I didn't go out with Danielle, and I couldn't bring myself to say anything to her was because of what you might think, in case you got mad at me for being with her or something.

I can't believe she's such a good friend, she put my welfare before hers.

I went to hug her.

—I would never be angry to see you happy with Danielle or with the Pope of Rome, understood? —I pulled away from her— Now, I will be angry if you don't make me the godmother of your wedding —we laughed.

—There is still a long way to go.

—I'm just warning you; I don't want any misunderstandings... Out of curiosity, you said that there were two reasons why you didn't go out with Danielle, one was me, and the other one?

—It was Hanni.

—Oh— I said dryly.

—I thought they were together, and jealousy took over me.
