"Do you think he's alright?"

Win looked over at where Dew, one of his classmates, was pointing at, as he blew out the smoke from the cigarette he was smoking. Fourth was running around the ground, never pausing to even take a breath, kicking his ball continuously in the goal. He seemed determined, but the way he was playing alone worried Win. He nodded, taking another drag from the cigarette.

"He'll live" He turned to Dew, "They have an upcoming match and yunno how he gets"

"You sound annoyed" Dew replied, looking over at Win, "everything alright?"

Win cleared his throat before placing both thumbs on his throbbing temples, "Mm. Let's get to class"

Fourth passed the ball between his feet, expertly swerving it on the wet field before scoring a goal once again, "And the crowd goes wild—woohoo"

He raised his hands in triumph, looking around the empty arena, before his smile fell along with his arms. He was all alone in the ground; there weren't even his usual spectators today. He watched as Win walked away with his classmate, without sparing him a glance. Sighing, Fourth walked over to the goal to pick up his ball and started to head towards the showers.

He didn't understand why Win didn't come down to say hi. It really wasn't like him to ignore his presence, but maybe it had to do something with the fact that Fourth didn't inform his departure for the second time consecutively. But why be this salty over something like that?

Fourth inhaled deeply.

If only Win knew the reason why he went early.

Shaking his head, he put the ball back where it belonged and grabbed his towel for a quick shower. Still with wet hair, he started to walk towards his dorm, letting his phone vibrate with message after message. He didn't have the energy to even look at any messages—what if it was... him?

Yesterday's heartbreaking memories crashed before his eyes once again for the 100th time today. Watching Gemini smile at him, at the crowd and then hugging April as if she was his safest place. That was pure undulated torture, that rippled like waves inside him.

There was however one question that was pulsating in his mind: if April was Gemini's girlfriend, then why was she at the blind date? Why didn't she say anything about him? And why did she just casually throw around a 'P'Gemini' when they talked in class, as if knowing—dating—him was the most obvious thing in the world? If so, then why was she at the bl—...

Fourth grabbed the straps of his bag as his phone suddenly rang. Praying that it won't be the one person he was trying to avoid, he peeked at his phone with one eye—Jan.

Thank fucking God.

"Hey" he said, after a small pause.

"Are you on the way to the dorm?" Jan asked, without any greetings.

"Yeah" Fourth nodded before pausing, "why?"

"Can I come over? I wanna talk to you"

Fourth thought for a while before agreeing, "Sure"

Anything to get his mind off of... him.

"You what?!"

"Shh, not so loud" Jan urged him, swiveling her chair to come closer to Fourth with her arm raised.

"We're alone, it's fine, but..."Fourth looked around before whispering back, "You kissed Win?!"

"You repeating that over and over doesn't undo it, does it?" Jan crossed her legs together before leaning back, "Damn, I shouldn't have told you to begin with?"
