I Followed You

The next day being Thanksgiving, They got their home filled up with family and friends. His uncles and Aunts were all surprised to see him "Hojun didn't tell us you came back" they all said.

"I didn't know he did till I come home" Hojun tried to defend himself every single time.

Jieun and Jungkook joined the women in the kitchen as they chatted and cooked, mostly about how handsome Taehyung has become and that very soon, he will bring home a bride. Jieun agreed but also tried to remind them that he was just twenty one but they don't seem to care and was already making plans of the wedding.

As much as Jungkook wanted to stay in the kitchen with them, their discussion was really tearing on his heart but he can't walk away from the truth even if he wants to, he can walk away now but will he do that forever? Sooner than later Taehyung indeed will bring a spouse home, that's if he hadn't gotten a girlfriend or boyfriend already, he hasn't seen him for three years, is it that they are no beauties in Cambridge? Of course not, he is pretty sure there is a plenty of girls and boys waiting for him to come back to London.

The day was merrily and noisy but it was so much enjoyed, Taehyung haven't had such happy and fun filled Thanksgiving for three years and really missed it and therefore enjoyed himself while promising himself that he is not going to stay away from home during holidays ever again.

A day after Thanksgiving, Hojun got a call for a contract in Philadelphia, he will be staying for a week and the pay was good, as much as he still wants to stay with his family and also knowing Taehyung will be going back to school soon, he can't reject the contract, after all, he has been waiting for the call for three months now and so have to say goodbye to his family and promising Taehyung to keep in touch.

The rest of the day passed with them having one fun or the other with their mom. Three days after Thanksgiving, Jieun walked into the living room with a small travelling bag, Taehyung looked away from the television when he noticed her and so did Jungkook.

"Kids I am so sorry, but there is this conference meeting in Chicago that I must attend, I mean it's a must."

"I thought you said you won't be traveling till next week?" Taehyung asked and Jungkook nodded.

"Yes but then this just came out and I can't afford to miss it, I promise I will be back latest in three days time" Jieun tried to pacify them.

"Will it take that long?" Jungkook asked.

"I don't know, it all depends" he sighed "sweetie I'm so sorry but I must go. Dayeon already booked a flight for me."

Taehyung sighed "it's okay, we will manage" only that I will be dead before you get back. He murmured in his heart.

"Yea" Jungkook agreed too.

"Thanks sweetie. Taehyung you take good care of your brother."

"When have I not?" He asked with a smile and Jieun retuned the smile before kissing Jungkook on his forehead.

"You be a good boy."

"Mom I'm not fifteen years anymore" Jungkook rolled eyes.

"I know you are not but you will always be my baby boy" Jieun insisted.

"Let me drop you" Taehyung offered.

"That's great, you can also return the car but that will mean, you will come pick me up when I return."

"I can be your driver" Taehyung teased.

"Okay then" She made to carry her bag but he did. They both got to the door when Taehyung noticed Jungkook was not following them.
