Can You See It? Your Baby

"I can't stop thinking. I couldn't even concentrate in class" he sighed "you seemed to be thinking too. I have been standing here for like ten seconds before calling you."

"Em, sorry about that I was just lost...in thoughts."

"I know" Jungkook bit his lower lip "should we go back to the hospital now?"

Taehyung scratched his head and grabbed his hand on the table "Jungkook" he began "what do you think we should do?"

Jungkook stared at him "we shouldn't be having this discussion here. Let's go to the hospital and then we will return to your hotel room" he suddenly became the older one and Taehyung nodded before standing up. He helped him up and they both left the canteen.

Taehyung stopped a cab and they both entered, he gave the address to the hospital before the car drove away. They got to the hospital and met the same nurse in the morning, she smiled to them and ushered them to the doctor's office.

"I still think you should have an ultrasound, you will be happy you did" she smiled to them and they both nodded.

After a brief discussion with the doctor, they agreed for the ultrasound. Jungkook laid on the bed with his top half open and revealing only his flat stomach, Taehyung can't believe as he stared at it that a little life was growing in there. Something like gel was rubbed on Jungkook's tummy and he shivered at it's coldness. The doctor smiled before carrying on with her task 

"why will you look at that" she said looking at the monitor.

Her words gripped Taehyung's and Jungkook's attention and they both looked at the monitor too "can you see it? Your baby" the doctor smiled again.

Taehyung and Jungkook creased their brows cause they can't see anything except for a tiny dot "I can't see it" Taehyung said shaking his head.

The doctor smiled and pointed at the little dot "that's your baby. It hasn't form yet so you can't see anything but that."

"So that proves that he is pregnant?" Taehyung asked surprised.

"Of course, that's the baby there" the woman chuckled before handing Jungkook a tissue to wipe his stomach. Taehyung was dumbstruck and kept staring at the monitor, even though the dot was no longer there. He can't explain the thing that was happening but something was growing in him, happiness. 

Yes, happiness, Taehyung can't believe he just saw his baby, even though it has no shape and is only but a dot. The thought that soon, that same dot will form a head, hands, legs, heart and have his blood was heartwarming, he found himself already looking forward to see the little one.

He looked at Jungkook and in his eyes, he saw the same joy, he is also expecting the baby. His eyes for the first since today was shinning. The doctor noticed their growing expectation and chuckled secretly, seeing the baby always took them away from their wild thoughts, it's why she always inform her nurses to always suggest to young adults like them for an ultrasound because once they see their baby, they won't bear to abort it, even if they still insist to, it's only few out of many that does.

After a little counseling from the doctor and things to do, things not do, Taehyung and Jungkook left the hospital and returned to the hotel.

Jieun stepped out of her office, it's been a tiring day, and she wants to do nothing but go home, have dinner, take a shower and go to bed. The thought of shower caused her body to tingle with expectation. She walked to the parking lot and got into her car, she closed the door and just in time to hear her phone ringing, she searched her handbag and got it out "hello Haana."
