Veer chuckled at Richel's teasing and said, "Well, maybe I am a bit of an old soul. But I can still surprise you."

As they browsed through the bookshop, Richel picked up a few romance novels, her eyes lighting up with excitement. Veer watched her with a soft smile, feeling content just being by her side.

After purchasing the books, Veer suggested, "How about we grab some coffee? There's a nice café nearby."

Richel nodded eagerly. "That sounds perfect."

They walked to the café, holding hands. Once inside, they found a cozy corner and ordered their drinks. Richel sipped her coffee and looked at Veer. "Thank you for today. I really needed this."

Veer reached across the table and took her hand. "Anything for you, my jaan. I want you to be happy."

Richel blushed and looked down at her coffee. "You make me happy, Veer. But sometimes, I feel like I'm not good enough for you."

Veer frowned and squeezed her hand. "Don't ever think that, Richel. You're everything to me. You're perfect just the way you are."

She smiled softly, feeling a warmth spread through her chest. "Thank you, Veer. I don't know what I did to deserve you."

Veer leaned in closer and whispered, "You deserve the world, Richel. And I'll spend my life making sure you get it."

After finishing their coffee, they decided to take a walk in the nearby park. The sun was setting, casting a golden glow over everything. They walked in comfortable silence, enjoying each other's company.

As they reached a quiet spot by the lake, Veer stopped and turned to Richel. "There's something I want to tell you."

Richel looked up at him, her heart racing. "What is it?"

Veer took a deep breath and said, "Richel, I know our relationship started under unusual circumstances. But I want you to know that I love you. I've loved you from the moment I met you. And I will keep loving you, no matter what."

Tears welled up in Richel's eyes as she listened to his heartfelt confession. "Veer, I love you too. More than words can say."

Veer smiled and pulled her into a tight embrace. "You don't have to say anything. Just being with you is enough."

They stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, as the sun dipped below the horizon. In that moment, everything felt perfect.

As they walked back through the quiet streets, Richel's thoughts drifted to a place of introspection. She couldn't shake off the nagging doubts that whispered in the recesses of her mind, the insecurities that gnawed at her sense of self-worth.

"I feel... lost sometimes," she began hesitantly, her voice barely above a whisper. "Like I'm adrift in a sea of expectations, struggling to find my place in a world that seems so vast and indifferent."

Veer listened intently, his gaze filled with empathy and understanding. He knew that beneath her outward facade of strength and resilience lay a heart burdened with self-doubt and fear.

I feel like the world is always watching and judging me," she continued, her words tinged with a raw vulnerability. "As if every step I take is scrutinized, every word I speak dissected for flaws."

Veer squeezed her hand gently, a silent gesture of solidarity and support. "You are not alone in feeling that way," he reassured her. "We all carry our own burdens, our own fears of not measuring up to some unattainable standard."

Richel's eyes brimmed with unshed tears, a mix of relief and sorrow washing over her. "If I disappear today, would someone miss me?" she whispered, her voice laced with a poignant longing for connection and belonging.

Veer's heart ached at her words, the depth of her pain resonating within him. "You are not invisible, nor are you insignificant," he said firmly, his voice filled with conviction. "Your presence in this world matters, your existence is a tapestry of stories waiting to be told."

And in that moment, under the canopy of a starlit sky, Veer and Richel found solace in each other's company, a shared understanding that transcended words and touched the depths of their souls.

As they walked side by side, a newfound bond of kinship and empathy blossomed between them, weaving a tapestry of healing and acceptance in the quiet of the night.

They reached a small, secluded park bench and sat down, the night air cool and refreshing. Veer turned to Richel, his eyes filled with a mixture of love and determination. "Richel, I want you to promise me something," he said softly.

Richel looked at him, her heart pounding. "What is it, Veer?"

"Promise me that you'll never doubt your worth again. Promise me that you'll see yourself the way I see you—strong, beautiful, and deserving of all the love in the world."

Tears welled up in Richel's eyes as she nodded. "I promise, Veer. I promise."

Veer smiled and gently cupped her face in his hands. "You deserve the world, Richel. And I'll spend my life making sure you get it," he whispered, his voice filled with emotion.

Richel's breath hitched as she gazed into his eyes. "Thank you, Veer," she whispered back.

Slowly, Veer leaned in, his lips brushing against hers in a tender, loving kiss. Richel's eyes fluttered closed as she melted into his embrace, her hands resting on his chest. The world seemed to disappear around them, leaving only the two of them in that perfect moment.

The kiss deepened, filled with all the love and passion they felt for each other. Veer's hand moved to the back of Richel's neck, pulling her closer as their lips moved in perfect harmony. Richel's fingers tangled in his hair, her heart racing with every beat.

When they finally pulled away, both of them were breathless, their foreheads resting against each other. "Never forget how much you mean to me," Veer whispered, his voice filled with unwavering devotion.

Richel smiled, her eyes shining with happiness. "I won't, Veer. I Promise

They sat there for a while longer, wrapped in each other's arms, the night sky above them filled with stars. In that moment, everything felt right, and they knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, they would face them together.
