When the Byers took el in, they were all very happy to have El join the family.
And now it's been a year since, and Hopper is back now too!
And over the year Jonathon has grown to be almost like a second Hopper with el.
El has said over and over again to Jonathon that he can get way too overprotective but he denies it.
Today, Mike had asked el if he could come over which el was obviously ecstatic about.
A knock on the door was heard and El quickly ran down the stairs, excited.
El was halfway down the long stairs when Jonathon opened it for her.
"Hello, Jonathon." Mike smiled.
Jonathon looked Mike up and down. "Hey, Mike, here for el?"
"Yup." Mike chuckled, nervously fidgeting with his fingers.
El then gently pushed Jonathon out the way.
"Mike!" El smiled and hugged him.
Mike smiled softly at the warmth of the hug and kissed her hair.
"I missed you el, Mike held her hands.
"I missed you too!" El smiled.
Jonathon stepped away but still watched with a very close eye.
"Hey, el I brought your favorite! The breakfast club!" Mike pulled out the movie.
El gasped. "Can we watch it?!"
"Of course!" Mike smiled and put the movie in.
They couple sat down on the Byers couch and Mike wrapped a blanket around them and pulled els head into his neck.
Jonathon's eyes widened at the contact.
'They are WAY too close...'
Jonathon walked behind the couch and climbed between them making el let out a yelp and Mike look at Jonathon is confusion.
"Dude, what are you doing?" Mike asked with furrowed eyebrows.
"Well, you know I like this movie too." Jonathon smiled and bumped Mike on the shoulder rather harshly making Mike grunt.
He wrapped his shoulders around the both of them and sighed.
"Isn't this fun! Me, el, and Mike all having fun watching a movie!"
Mike sat up and looked at el as el did the same to him before Jonathon pushed them both back.
"Jonathon!" El laughed.
Jonathon looked towards el.
"Mike and I were trying to watch a movie!"
"You know, like romantic couple time? Like what you do with Nancy?" Mike helped el express.
Jonathon nodded.
"Mhm." He hummed, still staring at Mike.
