"Oh, god! What are we going to do?" Dustin tugged on his hair.
El sucked in a breath.
"Henry, wants me... he wants to get me out of the way, I need to face him." El whispered determinedly.
Mike snapped his head towards her. "What? No! No, eleven! No fucking way, you are staying right here." Mike said firmly.
"'Mike..."
"No, el. I can't fucking lose you again. I've lost you so many fucking times, I can't do it again."
"It's the only way to save the world, Mike." El tried to explain.
"And I will come back!."
"You don't know that." Mike said slowly.
"You could die!" Mike said, voice cracking.
El closed her eyes to stop the tears from falling.
"Mike, I'm going."
"No!" He grabbed her arm.
"Mike... let go." El stayed calm.
"No!." Mike pulled el back.
El then flung him backwards making him yell.
El then booked it towards the area where Vecna was.
"No! Come back!" Mike screamed and quickly got up to run to the most important person in the world to him but was stopped when Lucas and Steve held him back.
"No! Let me go! Please!"
"Kid, she's gone, she's already there, there's no point in running in on after her." Steve sighed.
"No, no, no!" Mike yelled as the tears started to pour down his face.
"Mike, she'll be okay! She has superpowers! Dustin tried to console his friend.
"So does, one..." Mike muttered.
About forty- five minutes later they started to hear screams coming from both two people and Mike got up quickly.
"El!" He tried to run.
"Mike! Stop! No!" Nancy held him back.
Mike sobbed.
"Please! What if she's dying!"
"She's okay, Mike. It's eleven!"
Mike collapsed to the ground as Nancy held him and told him everything would be alright.
Another forty- five minutes passed and it was suddenly silent, worrying Mike. There was smoke, a lot of smoke. The sky turned bluer, the thunder that was just booming stopped. And all of a sudden el walked out from the smoke.
Mike sighed in relief.
"El!" He ran towards her with a smile.
El looked at him and that's when he saw how heavily her nose was bleeding and his smile slowly dropped. She was bleeding out of her nose and ears. Her eyes were red and her fragile frame was covered in cuts and bruises. A large wound in her stomach that was bleeding quite a lot.
El collapsed and Mike quickly caught her.
Mike gently laid her down on the ground and supported her head and tried to stop the bleeding.
"El... ellie... el, baby, stay with me!" Mike sobbed.
El tiredly look over to her boyfriend.
