brenner circled el, as she eyed him from her chair.
"eleven, i'm afraid you will not focus if you don't stop stressing about your friends... i'm sorry but i have no other choice." brenner straightened up.
el felt the fear inside her grow as she shakily asked. "what are you gonna do?" she asked quietly. "kill me?!"
"no, eleven, i need you alive. see this?" he pointed to two electric paddles.
"this... this is the solution."
"what are they?" el asked quietly.
"they'll make you forget, hopefully that'll include your little friends..." brenner said, not feeling an ounce of remorse.

"n-no! please no!" she screamed as brenner called his men.
two men grabbed her and threw her on a table before strapping her down.
"NO, NO, STOP I NEED TO SAVE MY FRIENDS." she screamed helplessly.
"max! i need to save her please!" she sobbed as brenner put a black strap of leather in her mouth to protect her teeth from what she was about to go through.
"it'll be okay eleven, it'll all be okay."
he brought the electric paddles to her head as she writhed around in pain on the table.
a few moments later she collapsed.
but hours later when she woke up
her memories were gone
"so, eleven? what's the earliest memory you can remember?" brenner asked the confused girl sitting across from him.
"i... i don't know..."she tilted her head.
brenner smiled. "what about your friends? remember them?"
"friends?" el quietly asked. "what are friends?"
brenner nodded. "don't worry about it eleven, we'll get back to work soon." he left the room leaving a confused el sitting there.

god mike was so worried.
the last time they spoke el was sobbing, not believing he loved her.
that was crazy to mike.
he loved her with every bone in his body.
he was just terrified she would leave him...
"god... please be okay." he whispered to himself in argyles van.
"i-i need you to be okay." he shut his eyes as jonathan gave him a look of sympathy.
"mike." Jonathan suddenly spoke.
"mike, MIKE!"
"what?!"
"it's her! look there she is! on the ground!" Jonathan pointed to her.
mike quickly looked to where Jonathan was pointing to and saw el on the ground as helicopters surrounded her.
"no, no, no." he whispered
"DRIVE! WE NEED TO DISTRACT THEM!" mike yelled as Jonathan took off.
moments after he witnessed el blow up the helicopters, he ran towards her.
