When we reached the terrace, Avni gasped in surprise. The space was transformed into a romantic haven, adorned with fairy lights, flowers, and a cozy seating area. A table was set up with all her favorite foods.

"Shaurya, this is beautiful," she whispered, her eyes sparkling with emotion.

"Happy Birthday, Avni," I said, pulling her into a gentle embrace. "I wanted to make sure you had a special evening after all your hard work."

We sat down and enjoyed the meal, the conversation flowing easily. We reminisced about the past year, laughing over the memories and marveling at how far we had come.

I could see the stress melting away from Avni's face, replaced by a soft, contented glow.

As we finished eating, Avni leaned closer, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "You know, Shaurya, you’re quite romantic. Who would’ve thought?"

I chuckled, "Well, I have my moments. But you’re the one who makes them special."

"Flatterer," she teased, her fingers lightly brushing against mine. "You know, I was thinking about that night at Kaashi and Nakul's reception when you asked me to be your fake girlfriend. Who would have thought we'd end up here?"

"I remember that night vividly," I replied, my voice dropping to a more intimate tone. "But now I’m glad we’re together."

She smiled, a blush creeping up her cheeks. "Me too."

After dinner, we moved to the edge of the terrace, looking out at the city lights. I took her hand in mine and turned to face her.

"There's something else I wanted to do," I said, pulling out a small gift-wrapped box from my pocket. Her eyes widened in surprise as she took the box and carefully unwrapped it to reveal a delicate bracelet with our initials engraved on it.

"Shaurya, it's beautiful," she said, her voice trembling with emotion.

"I wanted you to have something to remind you of us, every day," I said softly. "To remind you that no matter what, we have each other."

She looked up at me, tears brimming in her eyes. "Thank you, Shaurya. I love it, and I love you."

"I love you too, Avni," I said, leaning in to kiss her gently. The kiss deepened, filled with all the love and passion we felt for each other.

The world around us faded away, leaving just the two of us in our own little bubble of happiness.

We spent the rest of the evening wrapped in each other's arms, in Avni's bed.

We decided to come back in the room, as it was getting cold outside,it was a night filled with love, laughter, and the certainty that whatever came our way, we would face it together.

We spent the time snuggling to each other and whispered 'i love you's' and sometimes teasing and kissing each other.

But as the night grew deeper, we stood at the main gate, as I had to leave for my apartment.

I tightly hugged Avni, snuggling my face into her neck, peppering some soft kisses on her neckline.

But soon Avni’s teasing side surfaced again. "You know, Mr. Romantic, you’ve set the bar pretty high for future birthdays."

I laughed softly, "Well, Ms. Perfectionist, I’ll just have to keep surprising you, won’t I?"

She smirked, "You better. Or else I might just have to take matters into my own hands."

"Is that a challenge?" I asked, my voice husky with amusement.

"Maybe," she replied, her eyes glinting with playful defiance.

We stood there for a moment, lost in each other’s eyes, before I pulled her into a passionate kiss. Our lips moved in sync, the intensity of our emotions spilling over.

I moved forward making her back touch the cold wall, she hissed into the kiss due to the sudden sensation. And as the kiss broke, we were both breathless, our foreheads resting against each other.

"I don't want to go. But I have to." I groaned. "You are making me want you more, Avni."

"Just 5 more months Shaurya." She said smooching my lips.

"I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you, Avni," I whispered, my voice filled with sincerity.

"Neither can I, Shaurya," she replied softly. "You make everything better."

We stayed like that for a while, holding each other close, knowing that no matter what challenges lay ahead, we would face them together, with love and unwavering support.
