This is the longest chapter I’ve ever written, so I’d appreciate your response accordingly. Your comments are a great motivator for me to keep writing. 😁
Woh noor ka jharna hai
Main pyaas puraani
Main ney aankh se ghatak liya
Woh husn ka paani
Usse taktey taktey umer guzaarun
Koi aur khyaal jo aaye
Jhat se utaarun~(She's like a waterfall
and I'm like an old thirst
I've drunk the water
of that beauty from my eyes
I'll pass my life staring at her
If some other thought comes,
then I'll leave it right away) ~
"Qabool hai."

"Qabool hai."

"Qabool hai."

Taking a deep breath, Inaya spoke, her voice laden with emotions. Her eyes welled with tears, and her hands, adorned with henna and his name, were clammy with sweat. Her hands quivered as she signed her life away to someone else. This someone, sitting just seven feet in front of her, kept his eyes lowered to his hands, his thumbnail nervously scratching his index finger's nail.
His heart beat abnormally at the sound of her soft voice. When the same question was asked from him, he, in his gruff voice, pledged his life to her.
Her eyes fluttered and met his gaze, now fixed on her. Through her delicate net veil, she could see him clearly. She quietly averted her eyes, prompting him to release a deep breath. She was looking breathtaking in her richly embellished bridal outfit in muted gold, featuring intricate embroidery and a flowing sharara with a matching dupatta. Her overall look featured nude makeup, except for the deep maroon lipstick that adorned her lips.
It had been a difficult choice for her from the beginning. But after much contemplation and discussion with him, she made her decision. She remembered coming out of his room that day and messaging him later that night while sipping on a chocolate shake.
Flashback starts;
We need to talk.
After about half an hour, his reply came.
Yes?
Inaya suppressed an eye roll and, taking a deep breath, wrote back.
