"You look very beautiful," Charlie announced her presence to her sister, having been watching the fifteen year old attempt to readjust the way she had styled her hair, only to give up when she realized it was useless. The dress the younger Prince wore was a stark red, it reached her knees and was short sleeved. Charlie approved, as her sister wasn't showing off too much skin and had secured a belt around her waist that suited the dress. She had curled her hair and tied it in an elegant bun, a stray of hair falling over the left side of her face. She had placed a red clip in her blonde locks, her lips the same crimson color, and the purse she was going to take was the shade of ruby red; she had opted for red for the homecoming dance. She looked older then she was and Charlie had an assumption that Louis Harper, Lily's date and boyfriend, would be wearing a red tie to match her dress.

Lily turned her head, smiling softly, which Charlie found was very uncharacteristic of her. "I'm just glad you're letting me go."

"You can't leave my side, understand?"

"I understand. You're a better dancer then Lou and I, it'll be an interesting threesome." Lily smirked, laughing as the older Prince grimaced and turned away from her.

They were going to leave for the high school in a few minutes, where they would meet the others, and where the plan they had set out for Klaus's demise would truly happen. Charlie was nervous but she was prepared, and after her phone call from Bonnie, she was ready. Elena had stabbed Rebekah in the back (literally) because she was certain the Original would betray them just like Elijah had done, something Damon had apparently been blunt about. Charlie hadn't wanted Lily to go, but Louis was attending one way or another, especially since he believed Drew would be there, and Lily wanted to help. Since she was only a year younger then Jeremy, she knew she couldn't say no, not when she knew she had to go and her sister would find a way of sneaking out one way or another. So she was allowing her to, to possibly see Klaus die by Mikael's hand or (and for a plausible reason Charlie saw this as more likely) to see the rest of them die by either an angry Klaus or a homicidal Mikael. Damon had a plan he wasn't telling her, but since when did Damon Salvatore's plans ever work?

Unlike Lily, who looked stunning in her noticeable blood red attire, Charlie went for a simple outfit that didn't make her stand out. She wore a simple dress that reached just above her knees, her hair left practically untouched because despite it being a celebration, she knew she was not going to enjoy herself. Lily had full intentions of taking advantage of Charlie being distracted for the night, and while she knew her sister genuinely wanted to help with the Klaus problem, she did also catch the youngest Prince slip a condom packet into her purse. She planned on being with Louis and while Charlie did not like it, it wasn't up to her to be against it. She had been Lily's age when she started exploring and if anything, Lily was a rather rebellious girl, Charlie would've been surprised that she hadn't lost her virginity sooner if Louis hadn't been the only boy Lily had been somewhat serious about. Still, to Charlie, tonight was about putting Klaus down, yet every time she thought about the Hybrid, she thought about the vampire she would probably never see again once he was dead. Elijah always seemed to be there, lingering in the back of her mind. She had wondered about letting him back in, accepting the soul mate bond rather then fight it like she had been, why she had been having recurring dreams of blackness and void, rather then the warm world she could be sharing with Elijah. She wondered....

....then she remembered Jenna Sommers. Elena's short-lived death that resulted in the sacrifice of her birth father. Jenna had died literally in vain, while if they had taken Klaus down afterwards, then at least her death could have meant something. Charlie couldn't forgive Elijah for that, because she had to blame him, or maybe - just maybe - she would end up forgiving him. Forgiving him meant missing him. And she couldn't afford to miss him. Not now.
