CAPTURED MY HEART, BODY & SOUL [1]

10 : KLAUS

       After the Prince sisters got dressed, the three of them made their way towards the Salvatore Boarding House, due to that night being the full moon and Klaus's chance to break his curse. Lily was in a very teasing mood on the drive there, which Elijah found amusing, but Charlie was getting more irritated by the second, as she wasn't sure what she and Elijah were, and she definitely wasn't ready for everyone to find out about them either. Elijah understood and knew he had to be patient, and for that day, Charlie decided she would focus purely on helping her friends take down Klaus, and she could focus more on her confusing feelings for The Original tomorrow.

Lily promised not to tell anyone about what she knew about Charlie and the Original, as long as her sister kept her in the loop and begrudgingly, Charlie didn't head towards the school or the Old Witch's House like she originally intended, and instead went back on route to the Boarding House, Lily smugly sitting in the backseat. Elijah sat in the passenger's seat with a slight smile, not being able to prevent one from growing when seeing the sisters interact.

After arriving and Stefan giving her slight grief about not only bringing Lily, but also being in Elijah's company, they all gathered together so that the old vampire could run things for them once again. They needed everything to go as planned, or it could crumble apart.

"Tonight is the full moon. We can assume Klaus is prepared to break the curse." He told them, his eyes sweeping the room.

"Elena told us that the Sun and Moon curse is a fake? That it's actually a curse placed on Klaus." Stefan states.

Elijah nods, confirming the human doppelganger's words. "Klaus is a vampire born of a werewolf bloodline. The curse has kept his werewolf aspect from manifesting. But if he breaks it..."

"He'll be a true hybrid." Charlie whispered, shocked by the words despite Elijah having told her yesterday. He nodded as everyone gulped, frightened at the mere possibility.

Damon, however, finally decides to make an appearance. "Then why are we letting him break the curse? We can kill him today - with Bonnie."

"No and we've gone over this!" Charlie snapped.

"Bonnie can't use that much power without dying." Elena said with a sigh. Charlie wondered how often this argument had occurred.

"I'll write her a great eulogy!" Damon exclaimed, lacking empathy.

"It's not an option, Damon." Elena snaps.

Lily snorts from beside her sister. "You're a dick, Damon."

Damon, seemingly seeing Lily for the first time, pointed at her dramatically. "Charles, what's wrong with you? You brought Lilypad into this?"

"I blackmailed her." The young blonde said smugly.

"With what?"

"None of your business." Charlie hisses, ignoring the twitch of Elijah's lips.

"Alright, back on pointe," Stefan interrupts, his green eyes focused on the Mikaelson. "How do we break the curse?"

"Well, the ritual itself is relatively straightforward. The ingredients, so to speak, you already know."

"The moonstone." Lily shrugs and Elijah nods.

"A witch will channel the power of the full moon to release the spell that's bound within the stone. After that, Klaus, being both werewolf and vampire, will sacrifice one of each."
